My family stayed there for 3days back in August 2014. It was a great experience staying in this hotel.
Negative - limited choices for breakfast especially for balikbayan like us who misses traditional Filipino Food. Also, when the guest count is less than 50, there is no buffet but only A la carte. But it's ok considering the other positive, it compensates.
Positive- very warm welcome from Kuya Arthur (hotel van driver) very much informative and made us feel safe staying in Palawan. On arrival in the hotel, we received another warm welcome from the frontdesk staff. The room's back door locked was faulty but mended almost immediately. They serve the best friedrice that's super tasty you would want for more. Foodwise, the serving is rather big portions if you are not big eater.Their chef is very good.
Overall, highly recommended and will definitely stay there again in future. Kudos to all the staff especially to Edwin (waiter) and kuya Arthur (driver). The hotel is rated 3 star but their service is 5 star. I must say that Palaweno's are very much disciplined and I salute them.
This is a deserted construction site. I had to leave minutes after the check-in. I have been there, took pictures of the spiders and muddy dry canals. Please stay away. My trip is ruined. Now, I have to fight to get my money back. What a shame. Expedia should block this merchant.
Nice hotel. It was surprisingly more elegant in actual compared to photos. Has a nice barkada room for big groups traveling. Offers transportation from hotel to anywhere in the city at a reasonable price (200 PhP, 1 Grandia Van, very good if you are attending a convention and don't want to ride a tricycle wearing your long sleeves and tie) + free if to and from airport. Free breakfast is decent. Hotel staff are very accommodating. Lobby guard assists tourists when hailing a tricycle and talks to the driver. There is a convenience store downstairs.
My mom and I stayed at Palo Alto for 2 nights before leaving Puerto Princesa for El Nido. This bed & breakfast was amazing! The free airport shuttle was timely and made getting to the b&b after our flight from Manila very easy. Once we arrived at Palo Alto, it was pure beauty. Draped florals hanging off of the exposed wooden structures, a quaint courtyard, and tropical trees growing throughout the property made Palo Alto a unique and gorgeous place to stay.
We went on the Underground River Tour organized by Palo Alto and our tour guide, Jim was great. Complimentary breakfasts each morning was delicious and their coffee is some of the best I've had anywhere!
We enjoyed to stay in casa mila hotel. Staff are generous and approachable. I was worried when we about to depart in the airport because i did not inform them about the time of arrival. When we arrive there in puerto pricesa a driver from casa mila called my name to give us a lift. 100 per cent i would recomended. We really appreciated the whole staff.
The hotel staff was wonderful, from when we first arrived ,till we left, helpful ,so professional and made our comfort and stay as pleasant and problem free as possible. I asked for a early check in and was immediately given a cold drink while i waited, and soon after an upgraded room . I left the hotel to travel and booked another night online, when i arrived back the staff greeted me by name without me checking in or saying a word, a few minutes after i went into my room, The desk called to tell me they scheduled a free airport shuttle to get my party to the airport on time. I never even asked them for the service when i checked in.
The hotel is very nice and very plush, yet had reasonable rates. The accommodations were better than a 5 star hotel i stayed at in Makati, yet much more affordable. Along with the free airport shuttle service is free wifi thru most of the hotel. If i ever come back to Puerta Princessa i will stay here .
