“Dominican Republic...Love it”
I have been to DR four times now, and absolutely love it there, not only are the people so friendly, the hotels are basic but comfortable, the beds at Barcelo in Playa Dorada were soooo comfortable....I would definitely stay there again. It's a two minute walk to the beach, the buffet is tasty, and the selection is brilliant. I woould hire a car, get to see the country properly and you will be hooked just as I am. There are certain trips that are a must, Paradise Island, the Mega trucks, and the buggy/quad biking is fun. I know they say only book with the reps, but that's not always the most cost effective so shop around. All in all would 100% recommend the Dominican Republic, it's my second home....
