“Looking forward to returning”

We enjoyed our recent stay at Hotel Santa Fe. Except for the beds being a bit hard everything else was great from service to food. Friends back home kept checking the hotel's webcam to see if they could spot us on the beach. :-) Using their Internet access we could check/send e-mails. Location was perfect for access to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. You could be relaxing around their pool and yet be listening to the ocean waves crashing on the beach. We would stay at Hotel Santa Fe again

Area recommendations
Explore the whole city by walking... the different beaches, the super market, the cemetery, the shops, the churches, sample food from the street & beach vendors. Take a drive into the hills and explore a coffee plantation. Go south and explore Mazunte/ San Agustinillo area (great beaches everywhere and interesting people.) In Puerto Escondido you must stop at the little tourist information booth and chat with Gina. She is a wealth of information. It is across the street from where you can enjoy a refreshing aqua fresca or popsicle. Just kick back and relax! Going in April it was a bit too hot....consider Jan/Feb/Mar timeframe.

“really nice hotel”

Very nice comfortable hotel, spacious and charming, great view of the beach, nice pools, short cab ride to everything in Puerto Escondido

“Well situated on Zicatela Beach”

Good location for the surf crowd, not so much if you just want the beach experience. Charming hotel though, good bar and restaurant.

“hotel Santa Fe”

ottima posizione,camere pulite,personale discreto,bella vista dal ristorante con terrazza solarium annesso,2 piscine piccole ma sufficienti,da valutare in alta stagione!!comunque consigliatissimo.....

“Comodo, Limpio, pero Caro”

El hotel esta un poco caro para el estado en el que se encuentra. Parece un poco viejo, nos cambiaron de habitacion porque en la primera no habia agua caliente y no funcionaba el aire. Afortunadamente, nos soluciaron el problema cambiandonos de habitacion ! El restaurante esta muy rico para desayunos. Tambien tiene excelente ubicacion :)
