Brilliant stay at this hotel at the end of June. Stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast had everything that you could ever want. 20 minute walk to restaurants in Puerto del Carmen which sounds long but goes quiet quickly as walking along by the see. Was served uncooked chicken for lunch in the hotel unfortunately but was not a problem to send back and get another one. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful. Room great except two single beds tended to slide apart. Great hotel for the price.

A very clean and excellent hotel in a great location with friendly staff and great amenities. Very close to the town center with shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is right on the sandy beach and sheltered from the wind. The buffet breakfast was superior with a great variety of hot and cold food and beverages which also provided a wonderful view of palm trees and the Atlantic Ocean. We enjoyed our time there very much and would definitely return.

We just came back from an all inclusive week at the hotel - good facilities , great and very friendly staff , nice variety and abundance of tasty food and drinks, nightly entertainment. The hotel bar could do with cider :) but overall really great stay
We spent 5 nights at the hotel and thought it was lovely. Staff were friendly on arrival and the hotel is close to restaurants and bars. We did have problems with insects in the kitchen area but it wasn't a massive issue.
Overall experience was good, checking in could have been organised better. Rooms were lovely and the food was great lots of choice as we went half board. The only disappointment was at the end as the courtesy room was dirty, considering it was a big hotel I did not expect this, it was poorly organised.
Smart hotel in lovely resort, close to beach. Very clean with top class rooms and service from the professional staff. However, we stayed at the hotel during a quiet period, the construction of the building created a lot of noise in the 4 story open corridors, which I suspect would be multiplied significantly with more guests. Also the breakfast was not up to the standard we would expect, with very greasy stringy over cooked bacon & frankfurters which I suspect was directed to the many German guests, not the sort of breakfast us Brits are used to! We went out for breakfast which on average cost 2.50 Euro's and was excellent. Highly recommend Puerto Del Carmen as a resort.

The island’s biggest and busiest resort has two very different faces. Along the beachfront is a three-kilometre long, unbroken strip of shops, restaurants and night spots. By contrast, the old port is a picturesque spot busy with fishing and pleasure boats, and overlooked by restaurants and bars, many occupying a lofty balcony position on the hill. Adjacent, the swish marina of Puerto Calero offers excursions by yacht, submarine or catamaran.
