“The most beautiful hotel I would not visit again”
Very nice hotel Very good service The problem is the noise, footsteps, electrical engine noise or street noise could not sleep?
“Nice looking but big noise problems”
Stayed 4 nights at La Purificadora and it is a beautiful hotel with a location that is a little inconvenient, outside of the center of the old city. The biggest problem was the deafening sounds at night from a nightclub across the alley. The noise was so bad until after 2:00 each morning that it was impossible to sleep even with earplugs. The staff could do nothing about it because it was not their club. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Puebla´s minimalistic chic hotel”
If you like minimalistic, modern "cold" hotels this one is for you. Excelent pool and jacuzzi, good location.. great atmosphere. If you like cousy warm hotels.. look for other one.
“Good hotel”
Almost everything during my stay was great... I have just a few complaints: -the rooms are a little to cold, the design is great, but as others mentioned, the bathroom needs a little mor privacy -while I was there, the hotel allowed a TV show to occupy 90% of the rooms, so the hotel was full with cameras and many of the services since that night where not available by other costumers, I would advise la purificadora to notify the other guests about this event before they pay their room because it is obvious they can not offer the same service than usual. As I said before my stay as a whole was pleasant.
“for something different”
La Purificadora is a great choice for those seeking a different hotel experience in Puebla, Mexico. The hotel service was very accommodating in helping us plan an outing to nearby Cholula and even taking my reader glasses to be repaired within 10 minutes. The contemporary decor of this renovated water bottling facility is refreshing--especially the rooftop aquarium swimming pool. Food in the restaurant was excellent from the squash blossom soup to the beautifully presented fresh fish. The location was close enough to walk to the nearby historic district and a pretty adjacent public park with young couples in love. Our only complaint was the rooms dirty tile flooring needs a good power washing and the air-conditioning was not working properly. However, the staff quickly brought in a portable cooling unit. La Purificadora makes a great base to explore the many offerings of this charming city.
“Beautiful hotel - hard to describe”
After finally finding the hotel after two hours, we were spellbound as we walked through the rustic double-door entrance. Every corner of this hotel is breathtaking from the floors, to the ceiling, to the above ground plexiglass swimming pool. The staff was amazing! Every one of them educated us on the particulars of the building which added to the enchantment of being in a place with so much history. There is not enough space to describe this wonderful place - you'll have to experience it for yourself.
