“Nice, clean hotel”

The only drawback of this hotel is that walls are very thin and if you are unlucky, you can hear your neighbor when he speaks a bit loud or above normal. Otherwise is a good hotel to stay, although...a bit overpriced if you don´t use Expedia.

Area recommendations

I would recommend downtown Puebla. In many ways it is an Architectural Museum of Colonial Buildings, including the Cathedral and the Church of Santo Domingo, with its Rosario Chapel.

Shopping

Not far from the hotel you´ll find the "Angelopolis" Mall, with excellent shops and bargains.

Dining

Try "Las Bodegas del Molino" in the outskirts of the City, on the old road to Mexico CIty.

“No heat in winter time in my suite!”

This is a nice, reasonably priced hotel, but they haven´t done any significant investment over the years. The water pressure in the shower is lousy, with constant changes of temperature as other guests use their showers. And this time (I have stayed at this hotel several times) there was no central heating in my room ! while the temperature outside was 2 degrees C or 36 F.

“Good hotel in Puebla. Nice breakfast, good location”

Nice humble hotel. Clean and well located. Most of the 4 star hotels in Puebla are either a bit arrogant or not so well located.

EVERYTHING WAS OK, AT OUR STAY. THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS SO QUIET BUT NEAR THERE ARE TOO MANY RESTAURANTS, BARES AND NIGHTLIFE...

“See you next year ...”

We booked this hotel for a night on our way to Chiapas and another night on our way back home. The hotel is very conveniently located, sorrounded by good, well priced restaurants and close to major shopping centers. Service is OK, but no more than that. On our way in, we requested an extra bed and it was delivered without any issues to our room, but on our way back (2 weeks later) we made the same request and we were told that they had run out or extra beds ... (??!!). It just looked like the staff did not want to be bothered that day and they did not care a whole lot for our need. The hotel restaurant and the bf buffet is very good. Service is also very good. Beware of the rate you pay for. It may say that you BF is included and you still have to have a discussion with the front desk clerk to get your coupons for breakfast ... amazing ... All this being said, the hotel is so convenient and service is acceptable, so we will be staying there next time we visit family ...

Area recommendations

If you have the time, stay for a day or two in Puebla and visit downtown, Cholula and enjoy what is considered the best food in Mexico. All traditional dishes from Puebla are fantastic, extraordinarily taisty and best of all, you should not be concerned about Moctezuma's revenge ... just do not over eat.

“Definitely worth it”

This is a great hotel. I would recommend that you book through expedia. The price is about twice as much if you book through Holiday Inn.
