Our first room, although beautifully appointed, was on the corner of the hotel near a busy intersection. So it was very noisy, even during the night, impacting our sleep. The next day we contacted hotel mgmt and they were very accommodating. They allowed us to change our room to one further from the intersection. Much quieter and restful. The second room was another suite, also beautifully decorated. The Casona is conveniently located in the Centro of Puebla just a few blocks from the zocalo and the cathedral. Breakfast was included, although the morning service was a bit spotty.

One of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. My beautiful room had stylish décor and extravagant bathroom. Each morning it was a great pleasure to have breakfast in the lovely courtyard, featuring seasonal fruit, toast, egg dishes, juice and coffee. Most importantly, the hotel staff members were experts in customer service. Unfortunately, I had a personal emergency during my stay. The hotel manager and restaurant manager went out of their way to show tremendous kindness to me, which I will never forget. I am fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful hotel.

The hotel is charming, the staff friendly and attentive, and the location excellent. We were close to the zocolo, cathedral and many markets. We ate a very good dinner at the hotel restaurant and the breakfast was also good. We wanted espressos at breakfast which they did not have so they ran out and got us one. They also helped us with getting a taxi for our return to Mexico City.

THE place to stay in Puebla
This is a lovely place, in a great setting in Puebla old town. Easy to find (this is no small bonus, given hopeless nature of Mexican road signage.) Free parking in the hotel garage. Good room rate, great value for money.

Exceptional property
We visited Puebla for a family wedding and this was our first time at Casona de la Poblana. Previously we have stayed at other properties which also were very nice but this property really shines in comparison. The service was second to none. The food was exceptional and we couldn't have been happier with the location, close to everything but still peaceful and not swamped with people. On our next visit we will definitely come back. Thanks to all the staff.

A great Boutique Hotel
It is a great Boutique Hotel with attention to detail. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great and the ambience overall was "chic"and relaxing! Location can't be beat just one block from the Zocalo -main square- great for couples!

Our Puebla home away from Home
My husband and I celebrated the second half of our honeymoon in Puebla and experienced an amazing trip full of culture. The hotel was a perfect location next to the Zocalo where the Cathedral and State Buildings are located. Puebla has grown in the last 10 years and transports you to the past culture while highlighting modern technology, lighting, and safety. There are many restaurants near by you can go for traditional Poblano food, tacos, or a late night coffee or drink. It is perfect for any age. Our staff was attentive to every need from food, taxis, and our room services. We've decided to always come back here when stopping in Puebla. It felt like home.

Nice, large clean room with all the standard amenities. Plenty of hot water, adequate lighting and a large TV with multiple Spanish language channels. Excellent internet. Good regional breakfast not included in the room rate. Noisy location due to local traffic and the windows not being sound proofed. Excess light in the room due to external sources. Friendly and considerate staff. Good location for anyone who likes to walk and explore. We felt safe in the hotel which is always a consideration. Puebla is worth 3 full days over any weekend.
