We loved our stay. Great size room (603) for a couple. Overlooked the street. Really quiet and great block out blinds.
Tourist bus stops across the road from hotel and in walking distance to cafes and restaurants.
Will definitely recommend to friends.
This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping. The neighbourhood is a little rundown and tired, however we did not feel threatened. The hotel is clean, friendly and helpful staff and has a terrific rooftop terrace with a view of the acropolis lit up at night. Food at the hotel is very good. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. We stayed two nights. If you are only in Athens for a short visit, utilize the "on/off" double decker bus that takes you all over the city and stops just two blocks from the hotel.
Hotel staff are excellent. Very friendly & helpful with any information you would need in the area. They also speak English. The hotel is old & a bit run down but clean. Perfect for someone who wants to be conservative only looking for a place to sleep & shower. Bathrooms with shower head are small but clean.

I only stayed here for one night, as I was on my way from Aegina to the airport, and had to spend a night in Athens.
The room was comfortable. Not very big, but that's okay since you want to go out anyway. Plenty to see in Athens.
Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is near Omoneia, which I didn't find a worry at all. I didn't use the Metro and didn't need to. I have read things about the area and don't feel you would take any more precautions than as anywhere else. I walked to everything over two days in a circular pattern which the reception guys mapped out for me. I also had time for shopping. The hotel is clean. The staff are helpful. The location is good. There is a wide choice of food outlets nearby nearby on all sides of Onomeia catering for all tastes. The breakfast is very basic. Not a big deal. I would recommend deselecting breakfast and eating out nearby or on your to somewhere.
Once an area of leather tanning workshops, Psirri was transformed a few years back to make it Athens’ prime nightspot. Packed with an ever-growing range of bars, tavernas, and dance clubs, it offers mainstream entertainment. Several Latin and Oriental-themed bars add the spice. Psirri lives after dark, though the nearby Central Market is worth a look in by day.
