"WONDERFUL PLACE, GREAT LOCATION AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL STAFF"
Stayed here for 6 nights, it was the best place that we stayed in Greece. 30 Minute walk along the coast to Paradise beach, close to public transport however the owner takes you into the main part of town at 7.30 pm each night free of charge. Psarou Beach is only 10 metres away from the hotel (one of the best beaches in Mykonos). Staff are extremely helpful with any questions you have, there is also a little shop out front if you want to save money on lunch and snacks.
This is an excellent apartment near Platis Yialos beach on the island of Mykonos. Four of us stayed in the 2 floor (2 bed 2 bath) apartment for four nights in July, 2013, and everything was wonderful from the moment we checked in until the moment we left. The owner immediately took us to a grocery store (not in a tourist trap area) to get snacks and food for our stay. The apartment itself was even better than it looked in the photos, very comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others!

This was a good time to visit; the hotel closes at the end of October so was only a third full. The entire experience at the the Myconian was first class. Staff, Food everything was top drawer, we will certainly be back! The beaches again were very quiet so you could sunbathe anywhere you liked. Food was not cheap but certainly did not change the experience.

Had a great holiday here during the 1st week of June 2014. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming upon our arrival and throughout the week. They picked us up and took us back to the airport and were kind enough to give us a lift into Mykonos Town one afternoon.
The beach houses were in a great location with 4 beaches within walking distance. Agia Anna beach, the nearest beach to Almyra (5 mins walk), is a lovely, relaxing beach with a brilliant Taverna with traditional Greek food. Also, Paraga Beach is a nice sandy beach worth going to and the Tasos Taverna there was the best food we had during our trip. I would advise against going to Platys Gialos Bay as the beach is too busy and the food not as good and more expensive!
We originally didn't have any form of transport but ended up hiring a quad bike for a few days. Was only 30 euros to hire and was a quick and easy way of getting around. This allowed us to explore the island a bit. Super Paradise Beach is definitely worth a visit. Beautiful sand and clear sea. I've never been to the Caribbean, but this must be pretty close to what it looks like!
Mykonos Town is also worth going to. Only a 10 minute drive and lovely shops and tavernas. It is a maze walking around the streets so you will get lost at some point but can always find a way your way out!
If you're looking for a relaxing week on a beach with good traditional Greek food and nice people, this is a great place to stay.
Pickup and dropoff from the port was free and so very convenient. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a quick and safe walk to the beach, great restaurants and the bus stop into town. The pool is lovely and refreshing. The rooms are clean but simple as to be expected. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed in Villa Del Sol for five nights at the beginning of October. We had booked two apartments between the three of us, and on arrival they had upgraded one of the rooms for two of us to a suite, which was lovely! The apartments are very spacious and clean, and fresh linen and towels are provided every day.
The location is great - it is less than a minute's walk to the beach which has cafes and restaurants along the back, and there is a 24 hour bakery a five minute walk away, along with a supermarket and a few smaller shops.
Ornos is a five to ten minute drive into Mykonos town - which is where you want to spend your evenings as there isn't much happening in Ornos itself. This is the second time I've been to Mykonos and if I was going again I would defiinitely stay in Ornos, in the same apartments as they were so convenient and the staff were very friendly. My only critique would be that the pool area is fairly basic, but for the money you pay it is all very good value overall and I would recommend Villa Del Sol.
Manager of the hotel was very helpful and offered round-trip car service to the port. Hotel is located short walk from the beach and to the bus stops with close access to Mykonos town. Room is very spacious with full kitchen, separate living room and large bedroom. Well worth the price!

We loved this hotel. Beautiful rooms, pools, breakfasts, and free 50 minute spa treatment. Quiet location, nice views. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Maybe just a little bit far out, when you don't have transport - takes about 10 minutes down the hill to town, about 15 up the hill back. This isn't a long walk, but there are no footpaths and the traffic is crazy - we were nearly collected by buses and bikes a few times. Shuttle bus available for tours to Delos, transport to airport, ferry terminal etc.

Our ferry was cancelled from Naxos to Mykonos so we missed out on a night at Poseidon hotel which we were so sad about! We thought we would still have to pay for that night but as soon as we got there the hotel staff were so helpful and we didnt have to pay a cent for that night we missed! The room was absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view of the pool, ocean and windmills in the background. The food was divine from room service and by the pool and the free shuttle from the port to the hotel was excellent. It is only a short 5 min walk to a shopping town which includes where little venice and the windmills are. I cannot find a bad thing to say about this hotel! Thank you!
