“Best for the location”

Only complaint is that it is easy to hear everything going on in the hall ways. Other than that this was a good experience. We will stay here again.

“Great place, but missing a couple of things...”

We have stayed at this place for several years now, when we are visiting our families there. We overall like the place for its price and location, but one thing we really miss is the lack of a fridge or microwave in the rooms. We pay the same at other hotels and they always have those conveniences in the room. There are not a lot of storage spaces, either. But overall it is a very nice place to stay.

I was very impressed with the room. It was very nice and comfortable not to mention spacious and tastefully decorated! Thanks! I also enjoyed the waffles at breakfast! I will be back! I will recommend this hotel to others!

“good stay”

Went To Orem to watch State High School Volleyball. This was the 4th year my friends and I have gone to watch state. We've always tried to go as cheep as possible but decided we could spend a little bit more money for a nicer hotel. It was worth the extra money and it wasn't all that much more.

“La Quinta Value Proposition”

The hotel is exactly what you would expect from a national chain. It's only virtue is that it is affordable and clean. By any other measure, it is unattractive. The neighborhood is not really a neighborhood, but a strip along a main arterial. Most of the hotel/motels in the area are similar.

“Affordable Luxury!”

Our first stay at La Quinta will definitely not be our last! We were very impressed with the spacious, clean, comfortable room from the moment we opened the door until we left the next morning. My husband actually suggested we extend our holiday just so we could enjoy our room a bit longer. Definitely worth the price! :-)

Area recommendations

Orem- Provo area is home of BYU - a wonderful university with unlimited activities and resources. Also, situated in Utah Valley where shopping and sports are unlimited!

“Beautiful large room. Well suited for business travelers”

The room is was very large and well laid out. One side of the room had a wall-to-wall desk section that would be excellent for business travelers. Hot breakfast was standard for free fare. Very good price for value in my opinion.

“Aspiring to be 4-star”

While probably not quite 4-star, this hotel certainly aspires to be so. The service was excellent and professional. Everything was clean and up-to-date, including the pool. Room presentation was excellent. This is the only hotel I've ever been in with large LCD TVs in the rooms and wood floors in the entry and bathroom area. Nitpicks: TV channel guide was off by an entire day. No mini-fridge. Nearby trains are infrequent, but whistle loudly and repeatedly when they pass through. Breakfast offerings are somewhat limited. Hotel not within casual walking distance to anything (I'd recommend bringing in food, but no mini-fridge makes that a difficult option).

Area recommendations

University Mall is within driving distance and there are an abundance of other businesses around.

“So impressed!”

I have never been more impressed with a hotel room. We had booked 2 double beds because we thought our granddaughter was coming with us. She didn't, so I asked to change the room to one king sized bed. The young man asked if we were ok with the third floor and told us he was giving us a beautiful view of the lake. The room was so clean, not sure I've ever been in a cleaner room. The breakfast was so good, and the woman kept it well stocked the whole time. I will definitely go back here. And the price was excellent. I would highly recommend it.
