“Nice Conference Site”

I attended a conference at the Westin and I enjoyed the spaces that were used as well as the excellent food that was served, buffet style, for breakfast. Staff were helpful with technology issues. Room was clean and comfortable with good working space. Connection with Providence Place mall was a nice bonus.

“Exelent choce for downton area”

Every year we going to Provedance to drop off our son to the college and we stay overnight. So far we stay in five different hotels in downtown area and only one times stay in the same place. Good location with walking destination everywhere in center of the city.

“Not satisfied and not impressed.”

The front office was not helpful and it took them so long to get our baggages. There's also no laundry room so you can't dry your clothes or shoes yourself. The front office has some kind of attitude as well. The worst thing is that, there's no free breakfast. You call this a four star hotel? I don't think so!

“Good, but showers are weird”

Everything was pretty good, but the only low point was that showers spouts were too short for anybody above 5'7 or so, and not adjustable.

Area recommendations
Federal Hill is pretty good -- especially if you like Italian restaurants (of which there are many!)

“Great place to stay in Providence”

This is a great hotel for its ammenities. The restaurant was wonderful and the fitness center had lots of cardio equipment. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, bright and roomy. This is also a great hotel for its proximity to restaurants, shopping, events, and the Brown University campus. Just a short car ride to Boston and Newport, RI. We would definitely stay here again if we had to return to this area.

“Clean and comfortable”

Room was spacious and comfortable; attendants were helpful with check-in and general directions around Providence. Really liked that the building is connected to a shopping center, which was convenient for last-minute items. The only minor peeve is that they charged for internet use - we've stayed at less-expensive places with free internet, you'd think with these rates it would be included!

Area recommendations
Brown's campus + surrounding area is beautiful, so is downtown. We were dropping off my boyfriend's daughter for summer semester and while ambivalent at first, by the time we got her settled she'd already decided on her #1 choice!

“Excellent Stay”

This hotel made our weekend trip amazing. Excellent location, accommodations and crowd. Lovely view. Convenient bridge to the mall. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Felt very comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommended. Will stay there again. Be aware: large groups and different events do often stay there, so may not be the most appropriate hotel for a calm, quiet stay.

“Great hotel”

Was in town for meetings and found the hotel to be very comfortable. The parking and restaurant was a little spendy but was easy to get in and out of. Its a short cab ride to some great restaurants.
