Rocky Point Clam Shack, club room, indoor pool

The Hotel is right near Rocky Point Clam Shack, which is a small deli that used to sell stuff to an amusement park that has since been closed. There is a long queue of people queueing up to order lobster rolland other sea food. We order a cheese burger, mahi mahi warp (fantastic!), a lobster roll and a chicken finger with an extra piece of fish. It came to $38.xx, but it was amazingly great. The indoor pool of the hotel is quite nice, and so is the ability to have hors dors from 5:30pm and breakfast from 6:30am at the club room. The room is nice and clean too.

Thank you for the 5 Star review. Rocky Point Clam Shack has been a nice addition to the local area. We also have great family fare available in our Blue Fire Grill. Being close to all the area attractions and offering the convenience of a full service hotel make us great place to stay. We appreciate your business.

Near airport/not worth it.

5 of us Arrived at midnight and waited one hour and 20 minutes for a room away bed to arrive. Was left in hall for us to bring into a small room. When front desk was informed of issue only one of the 2 gentleman was willing to help us. Worst part the roll away had dirty sheets and blankets on it. Stain of soda or something on both unfolded sheets and comforter. Complimentary breakfast was lame at best. Will never stay there again.

I am sorry about the problems to start your stay. I understand your frustration and we met with the team immediately in the AM to review what happened. We know what we did wrong and we have taken steps to insure it won't happen again. I am truly sorry for the poor stay.

Pros: Easy access to main roads. Helpful staff.
Cons: Entry doors far distance from room
Location: Across street from TG Green Airport, Warwick. Easy access to Newport which was my destination. Unfortunately did not have time to explore other area
Easy access to main roads. Staff helpful. Only downfall was the distance from entry door to hotel room: long walk!!! Did not try restaurant. Room clean. Everything I would need was available. Good experience.

Close to the airport

Looks like an old Days Inn

Staff was warm & friendly. The lobby looks great -- very cool, new Sharaton internet center, comfortable chairs, etc. Putting lemonade and cookies out was a nice touch. Rooms were a different story. Low ceilings, not much light, cold/blue lights in the lamps. Not inviting. Headboard behind the bed was straight out of the 1980s. Bathroom was decent. Marble counters, excellent water pressure, average amenities.

From the moment I walked into the lobby, the people were so nice. I got greeted with a cup of melon infused water, advice on where to eat, my baby daughter was given a gift bag with an adorable little coca cola polar bear in it...the pool was fantastic and open late, parking was free, room was very spacious (though the bathroom not so much!). I was surprised that they did leave the back entrances unlocked 24/7, but hey...I'm from NYC. Overall a good place to stay and reasonably priced with a last minute deal.

Dirty, Musty, and Un-Professional.

Pros: Nothing, zero..
Cons: Fire the staff and re-model.
Location: Warwick is a depressing area, go to Providence.
At check in and check out staff could care less. "Oh you made your reservation through some third party service...here" and tossed the key cards to us. At check out, same attitude from different staff members. Room was damp and musty smelling. Carpet was dirty despite being recently "shampooed". The only electrical outlet that worked was the one for the tv so no lights other that the bathroom. The toilet were obviously used by previous guest and not cleaned. The bed linens felt musty, they did not have the crisp fresh linen feel. Emailed the manger...blah blah I'll look into it ....response. If you are visiting Providence area (this hotel is in Warwick near the airport) stay somewhere...anywhere else.

I am sorry about the poor stay. We are always alarmed when we read comments like these. Rest assured, we do not treat guests differently based on how they book their room. As you can see from the history of our reviews, stays like this are an aberration and not the rule. Nonetheless, we take your feedback very seriously and we review it with our team. It is a good reminder of how one bad stay can effect our on-line image. Again, I am truly sorry and we all understand how disappointing this was.
