We didn’t like the fact there was not enough handicapped parking! (Maybe people that were truly not handicapped using the spaces)! Also cigarette butts and cigar butts on the ground right in front of the entrance door. Other than that everything was good.

Their systems were down so they couldn't recover my Expedia reservation. Got a room however they still took my credit card info.. all written down on pieces of paper! Even though my reservation was prepaid. No hot water in the room! Outside there were 1000's of cigarette butts everywhere along with garbage. When I checked out their systems were still down so im concerned I'll get double charged. Front desk receptionists were very nice and helpful.

We've stayed here a couple times when traveling long distance. We like it bc it's clean, convenient, and accessible off the highway.

Slow check in. Guest clerk also on phone. But glad I asked for a room not on the side of I-77. Breakfast just so so. Not bad but not over the top.

It’s clean overall and customer service is great. Bathroom clean but could use an update. The room could use a deep clean, especially vacuuming the spring box under the mattress.

The bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. The bathtub had brown stains. Our room keys had to be recoded for use every day. The bathroom needs to be updated. Two dogs on our floor barked a lot.

Good job, Hampton.
We keep trying hotels at this interchange. Will likely stick with Hampton Inn. Only knocks were being on highway side if the building, minor mold along the tub, and a so-so breakfast. Also odd the ‘closet’ was a bar attached to the outside wall, covered by a curtain.

Hampton Inns are generally consistent for comfort, and this property was no exception. However, there was an odd, mechanical smell in the entry and corridor of main floor rooms (not in the room, thank goodness) — sort of a mixture of diesel and machined metal. I’m very sensitive to smells; it was there when we arrived and when we checked out the next day. We stayed at a Hampton Inn in Dobson, NC the week prior, and the breakfast was far superior to this location. Here, the oatmeal was undercooked and watery, and the ‘sausage’ was fried lunch meat. On the plus side, check-in was easy and quick, and all staff was courteous, friendly, and efficient.

Not great for long stays.
Hotel near interstate. Lots of traffic noise. Stayed on 5th floor and noise might be more tolerable on lower floor. Overall facility cleanliness was very good. Maintenance of breakfast area was a little lax. People in the hallway at 2:30 am and 3:30 am talking loud and causing disturbance. Hotel is near several restaurants within walking distance. Also near gentleman’s club. Mattress was not comfortable for us. Hotel has done away with night tables and instead has a shelf on each side barely big enough to accommodate c-pap machine. Large tv. Small trash cans.

Perplexed and disappointed !
When settling in for the afternoon and evening the tv channels were poor choices. No option to stream anything either. Upon checkin I knew I could pay cash but it was brought to my attention that I had to pay a $250 deposit which would have broke me. Thank goodness my sister-in-law had money in her account to cover the fee. Breakfast was okay except potatoes were cold and sausage was not even browned in the South? My friend saw the kitchen attendant drop her washrag on the floor then pick it up and continue using it on the food countertop! I’m sorry to have to point out the negative but I have to. It was a comfortable room .

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your stay did not meet our standards, in which we hold so very high. The 250 deposit for a cash payment is a hold for incidentals, for example, if a guest would smoke in the room. I have coached my breakfast attendants about the severity of maintaining a clean area and the proper techniques.
