No air conditioning in part of the hotel.

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: the staff were lovely.
Cons: new air conditioning in entire hotel, upgrade everything.
Location: Its in Summerside so there is not lots to do on the entire island, but the Atlantic Ocean across the street is wonderful.
had to change rooms, no tv or air conditioning in room and loud. Second room was better but not fantastic.

Okay hotel

I found front desk staff very disinterested in what they were doing. Cleaning staff was much friendlier and very nice.

Ok

The place was " fine" nothing bad but also not great by any means. Whole place needs an update. Didn't see a better option in Summerside.

Clean hotel on the waterfront

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: Staff were very helpful and kind.
Cons: Updating the rooms...but they were clean, so that is the most important.
Location: On the waterfront. Restaurant on site, but there are other eating establisments within walking distance.
This hotel is nice. Staff are helpful. There is a pool on site. Restaurant on site as well. Rooms are clean.

Comfortable and quiet.

Was close to the waterfront and stores. The decore was a little dated, but the rooms were airy and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Time to invest

Posted 13-May-2014
From the moment you walk in it's clear that money needs to be invested in this hotel to repair "wear and tear" and update room decor. Old TVs, dreadful floral pattern drapes and bedspreads make this 4 star look more like a 2 star. Staff friendly and room clean.

They midded the mark

Posted 10-May-2014
Pros: Great location. Excellent food. Friendly desk staff
Cons: They need to replace the pillows and mattresses. Management must find a way of convincing guests that it's a Hotel not a Frat Houae.
Location: Well located near the all the action in this small City
This hotel because of it's design and location has the potential to be very good yet they severely miss the mark. They do have a very fine Cafe with an excellent Chef that serves a fine menu for lunch and dinner daily which doesn't show up on the Expedia site. The rooms are small and tough to move around in. The mattresses are old and uneven and hurt my back. The pillows are like sandbags. Hotel staff were pleasant and efficient although on three occasions did not get our room cleaned till after 1PM when we wanted to nap meaning we were bypassed for those days. The biggest problem during our two week stay was other guest noise. On weekends there were hordes of children in for Sports Tournaments and the nearby Sports Complex. Both the children and their parents used the Hotel halls as party places well into the evening and the Hotel staff did little to stop the bedlam. On a number of occasions late in the evening we asked those in the halls to be quiet we were treated rudely and our requests laughed off by intoxicate parents. During the week Convention and other types of guests groups made almost as much noise drinking and partying in the rooms beside us till after 1 AM. The whole atmosphere during our two week stay was like a Frat House the week after exams. The Hotel gym had a few nice pieces of equipment but the weight machines were poorly maintained and the slides stuck making the almost useless. The small Hotel pool was quite nice. This Hotel needs better management.

Hotel is run down, needs renovations !

Posted 05-May-2014
Pros: Location was great! Within walking distance to the concert!!
Ok stay. We went to the bar for a drink and were shocked that two different bartenders reached into a jar with their fingers to put a garnish in our drink.... Gross!! When we went for dinner we waited an hour for our food.
