It was clean, quiet and the staff was friendly. The bed was comfy. I would definitely stay again. The only thing that surprised me was no hair dryer, and no updated USB charger in my room, but I always take my charger when I travel. Just something to take note.

The location is good and the bed was comfortable. I am not too picky about hotels, but the dirty carpet in the room was rather off-putting. We also didn't have any housekeeping service at all during our stay (not a huge deal, but some dry towels would have been nice). The biggest annoyance was that the wifi didn't seem to work at all. Breakfast was fine, and the lobby area was welcoming.

The carpet was disgustingly filthy, the room had cobwebs and many beetles in the corner of the room. The bathroom was not completely cleaned. The patchwork and painting was very unprofessional. I would never recommend this hotel.I believe reimbursement for the room would be reasonable. I have pictures to show the filth.

We had a very comfortable room on main floor just off the lobby. Being right next to the breakfast area and close to our car felt just like being at home! And they even served free nachos in the breakfast area during the evening!!

Nice hotel, but dirty carpets.
Great location. Nice pool & spa area. Beds were comfortable, but carpet was filthy. The dirtiest I’ve ever seen. Asked for a different room and she said all the rooms were that way. Had to lay towels down on the dirty carpet or leave my shoes on.

It was a great stay was concerned about the trains running through town but did not hear them at all and I know they go through town I have heard them at other places I have stayed in prairie du chen, I have never stayed at a microtel so I was very surprised when I seen how small the room was i didn't ask but I assume that is why they call it microtel

We needed a place to stay for one night. Hotel was very nice and hot breakfast in the morning exceeded our expectations and was a good way to start the day. Staff is very pleasant. Had a fantastic supper at the Angus Supper Club!! We will be back.

We stayed over a very busy weekend in the Prairie Du Chien area. This hotel was our only option…It looked fairly new but upon closer look, it was worn and in need of upkeep. Like the title of this review, it was just ok.

Great place to stay
We had a nice stay. The bed was comfy, and it was quiet, so I was able to sleep. The pool was nice. The ice maker wasn't working. There was a light out in my bathroom, but no biggie.

A bit dingy, but kind staff
Friendly staff, not many complaints except the room was a bit dingy and old. The carpet was stained pretty bad and we had some big black bug (beetle?) In our room. It was close to the places we wanted to see and had a breakfast.

Check in was easy, the rooms are small (MICROtel). The only dissapointment was how dirty the carpet was in the room. And of course the "hot tub" wasn't all that hot. It was fairly quiet I could hear the folks up stairs moving about. The breakfast was nice, people were friendly.
