“It was great”
Prague is relay beautiful city and me and my boyfriend rely enjoyed visiting it. The hotel was great. The location is very nice if you go by tram, but by foot is not that nice especially if you are coming back to hotel late in the evening. But tram works very well. The breakfast is very good and we were enjoying having it in the theater space. I would recommend this hotel.
“Great Hotel for Prague.”
We had the 3rd. floor bedroom, the three of us, one double very comfortable bed and one rollaway bed. Good bathroom, full size bath with great shower and hot water, beautiful. Soap/shampoo dispensers. Small bar fridge with with drinks. LCD TV. Electronic door was difficult to lock at times. Great Breakfast spread downstairs in the The old Theatre hall, had Argentinian Tango Dancing on our first night here, will come back here again.
“Good for the price, but definitely a 4 star”
Friendly and helpful staff - sorted out fault with safe very quickly. Breakfast area in grand hall is very nice but there needs to be more variation on the breakfast. Some of the rooms are quite small and tired looking but are spotless and perfectly adequate and good value for the price. As other reviewers have noted, the tram stop is a very short walk down the hill and takes you into main areas within a few minutes. Only reason for not giving this hotel a higher rating is that it's advertised as a four star but definitely isn't.
“Great hotel in a convenient location.”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Amedia Theatrino Hotel in Prague. Our room was very nice and the breakfast was very good with a great selection of cereals, fruits, breads, eggs, cold meats and cheese. Eating in the beautful old theater was a special treat. The hotel is one block from the tram line which takes you to the city center. It's about a twenty minute walk to the center and all downhill, so we walked there in the mornings and took the tram back in the evening. There are not many restaurants around the hotel, so it's best to have dinner before returning to the hotel. Please note that only the rooms on the fifth floor are air conditioned but there are only a few weeks our of the year when AC is needed in Prague. Great city to visit and great hotel!
“Good Value!”
This hotel was what I expected. The room was okay, not huge but NICE big modern bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler. Breakfast was a pretty good spread, except it took the staff a bit to realize some of us like more than 1 tiny cup of coffee in the a.m. (they did catch on however) The wifi was only in the lobby and that was usually smokey. (not great) But the hotel also seems to host music and dancing regularly and was an easy tram ride to everything. All in all, it was a very good Value!
“Very nice hotel not too far from the action”
I was very impressed by the style and service of the hotel for the price especially. When I arrived at midnight there was live piano music and dancing in the theater-turned-bar/restaurant. Room was relatively spacious and very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to book another stay.
“Listen for the church bells!”
The hotel was clean, the staff courteous, the location was reasonable, and the public transport was more than adequate. However, except the breakfast hall, there were no dining facilities or a functioning bar! There wasn't a convenient place to sit down, relax and order a drink or a snack, except staying in the room. The hotel had a feel of a 'smartish' youth hostel or some similar rather than the advertised four stars! Further, the nearby church was chiming every 15 mins day and night - not easy to sleep in!
“i liked it!”
Location is a bit far from city centre, but guys, it takes 5-7 min by tramp to get to centre. Tramp stop is just next to the hotel. Transportation system is GREAT: anywhere at any time for cheap prise! Surrounding neighbourhood is so-so, but anyway it's quiet. Hotel is nice. Free wi-fi only in reception zone; good full breakfast; quiet and clean rooms; helpful staff.
“Prague”
Lovely Place, Good food and cheap drink. Would go back again no problem!
“Comfortable Hotel”
Very satisfied with the hotel, with the exception of the slightly dated rooms.
