The Elite (Not the Charles)

Posted 24-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, staff, Spa facilities, bar.
Cons: Breakfast service could be more organised.
Location: Close to most things. Easy access to trams and buses and underground. Lovely restaurants and bars nearby
Could not stay at the Charles due to 'thunderstorm damage' so were moved to their sister hotel 'The Elite'. The staff at the Charles was very polite and helpful. The Elite was wonderful. Staff were amazing. Room very comfortable and clean, Breakfast buffet was good but could have been organised better because there was a lot of waiting for staff to refill hot beverages.

Posted 10-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com

Convenient location in heritage building

Posted 02-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel's entrance is on a side street, but the hotel fronts on the main street running up the hill from Charles Bridge. Some have commented about noise rising from the street. I had a room facing the main street & the noise was OK (and the view was great). The receptionist was very conscientious about asking whether I might be OK with noise and offered a rear or inner facing room if I needed quiet, and even asked after the first night if it was OK or if I needed a change. Noisy people and vehicles are in the street, that comes with the convenient location. If you need quiet, the hotel will work with you.

Ikke prangende

Posted 10-Jun-2014
Ok, men beskrivelserne snyder. Badeværelset var meget lille, men det fungerede. Mange turister i området. Nedslidt, trænger til maling. Neutral oplevelse.

Great location

Posted 02-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
The Charles hotel is in the better part of town. There are lots of restaurants and the Charles bridge and Prague castle are only a short walk away. The staff was very helpful with answering all our questions and printing our boarding passes. The rooms and bathrooms were average. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location.

Posted 20-May-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
Location: "Everything" is close to this hotel.
Having visited Prague 5 times prior to this stay, I knew what I wanted. This hotel was exactly what I wanted for the price I was willing to pay. I will stay here again. Location - the location is perfect. The hotel is located on the first block directly after the Charles Bridge on the Castle side. This allow for ideal access to both sides of the bridge and all of the major attractions. Comfort and Size - the room is average for Prague concerning size. It is considerably larger than most European rooms and has a separate area for luggage (like a vestibule). The Room was also comfortable and nicely updated while still maintaining its historic charm. Breakfast - The food was fine. Not a large selection compared to bigger hotels, but certainly adequate. If you are used to a big breakfast, this will disappoint. Noise - The hotel is a little noisy at night (outside that is). The walls seem to be thinner for interior noise as well. Your are not located above a bar or anything, so the noise is not all night. I always use earplugs, so again this did not bother me at all.
