This small, luxurious hotel has only eight rooms and is situated on a quiet little square in an area of embassies and government offices - but also only a few minutes away from the shops and restaurants around Malostranske Square and the Baroque Church of St Nicholas. The Wallenstein Palace & Gardens (home of the Senate) is just around the corner too. Charles Bridge leading to the Old Town is about 10 minutes walk away.
I cannot praise this hotel enough. Six of us stayed at the hotel and from the pick up from the airport to dropping us off at the airport our expectations were exceeded. The staff were the most welcoming I have ever come across, the dinner was fabulous and the wines brilliant . We were in the suite (room 101) which was incredible, how do they keep those beautiful chandeliers so clean.
Our only criticism was some of the breakfast items were cold rather than hot when we got them to our plates.
However a minor point. Overall excellent hotel highly recommend to anyone who is looking for one of the best 5 stars in Prague.
We spent our last night at the Lokal Inn because our previous hotel was full for our 4th night in Prague. To our surprise, we had the top level room #33 which was a lovely beamed suite--even a view of the Charles Bridge Tower. We cannot say enough about the room, the great front desk service and the restaurant! That pork neck schnitzel was the best schnitzel I've had in my life! Wow, you must stay here!

The Art Deco Imperial is a 100-year-old hotel conveniently located in the heart of Prague. It is beautifully kept and rich with history, paying homage to the art deco period of the early 1900s. The hotel staff is welcoming and very attentive. Our room was a bit awkwardly shaped and small, but nevertheless, it was well maintained, extremely clean, and luxurious. The hotel also boasts a lively bar and famous café with wonderful food, which are both warm and welcoming after a long-day of touring. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.
Could not stay at the Charles due to 'thunderstorm damage' so were moved to their sister hotel 'The Elite'. The staff at the Charles was very polite and helpful. The Elite was wonderful. Staff were amazing. Room very comfortable and clean, Breakfast buffet was good but could have been organised better because there was a lot of waiting for staff to refill hot beverages.
