This is a really great hotel with wonderful staff, free cheese & wine everyday at 5.00 pm,very close to everything, we walked everywhere even after we bought 24 hour tram tickets ( still have them not used).
One of the best hotels that we have stayed in.
This small, luxurious hotel has only eight rooms and is situated on a quiet little square in an area of embassies and government offices - but also only a few minutes away from the shops and restaurants around Malostranske Square and the Baroque Church of St Nicholas. The Wallenstein Palace & Gardens (home of the Senate) is just around the corner too. Charles Bridge leading to the Old Town is about 10 minutes walk away.
I cannot praise this hotel enough. Six of us stayed at the hotel and from the pick up from the airport to dropping us off at the airport our expectations were exceeded. The staff were the most welcoming I have ever come across, the dinner was fabulous and the wines brilliant . We were in the suite (room 101) which was incredible, how do they keep those beautiful chandeliers so clean.
Our only criticism was some of the breakfast items were cold rather than hot when we got them to our plates.
However a minor point. Overall excellent hotel highly recommend to anyone who is looking for one of the best 5 stars in Prague.
Arranged transfer to and from the airport prior to arrival and everything went very smoothly, with a reasonable rate as well. Staff was amazing, friendly and courteous. The concierge arranged for tickets at the National Theater and State Opera, including transportation and confirmed flights as well. The hotel is perfectly situated at the base of Prague Castle, easy walking distance to Petrin Hill, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. The hotel is wonderfully decorated, housed in the famous astronomer Tycho Brahe's house. Upstairs restaurant has a wonderful rooftop view of the Lesser Quarter, looking down on the Vltava River, Charles Bridge, and Old Town Square in the distance. Turn down service with a small pastry by the bedside waiting your return to the room after a tiring day sightseeing in the city. Quiet, at the end of a small street, away from the hustle and bustle.
I could go on, but I think you can get the picture...both the hotel and Prague were a magical, fairy tale experience!
We spent our last night at the Lokal Inn because our previous hotel was full for our 4th night in Prague. To our surprise, we had the top level room #33 which was a lovely beamed suite--even a view of the Charles Bridge Tower. We cannot say enough about the room, the great front desk service and the restaurant! That pork neck schnitzel was the best schnitzel I've had in my life! Wow, you must stay here!
If you are looking for high quality yet great value accommodation in Prague , then you certainly won't be disappointed by …More

Could not stay at the Charles due to 'thunderstorm damage' so were moved to their sister hotel 'The Elite'. The staff at the Charles was very polite and helpful. The Elite was wonderful. Staff were amazing. Room very comfortable and clean, Breakfast buffet was good but could have been organised better because there was a lot of waiting for staff to refill hot beverages.
