“Left my heart in the heart of old town”

Residences Retezova is a character-filled boutique hotel in an absolutely fabulous location. It's on a side street five minutes from the Celestial Clock and 10 minutes from Charles Bridge. It apparently dates back to the 1400s but has all the modern day mod cons. It was cozy and warm, a great retreat from the bitterly cold Prague autumn. On the negative side, we were in apartment no. 1 immediately adjacent to the reception desk. We could hear conversations in the lobby and felt that anyone in the lobby could hear our conversations. Also, we never did get the satellite TV to work. On one occasion, the maids neglected to replace the in-room coffee. However, the location outweighed the negatives. A multitude of restaurants were minutes away, as was the main square where tours originated. The bathroom, down a short spiral staircase, was a challenge for late-night toilet breaks. Still, overall it was a delight.

Area recommendations

The neighbourhood where we were couldn't be beat for convenience and character.

“Lovely people, great location”

We really enjoyed our stay. THe location couldn't be better. THe people who work at the hotel are lovely, really helpful and welcoming, make you feel at home. It can be a bit noisy, but it's a great choice for the price.

“カレル橋近く”

ロケーションが良かったです。朝食抜きの予約でしたが、にぎやかなお土産やさんが並ぶとおりからすぐのところにあるので早い時間でもモーニングをやっているお店をみつけるのに苦労しませんでした。当日ホテルで朝食も食べられます。（有料）キッチンがあってなんでもそろっているのでスーパーで食材を買ってお料理もできて楽しめます。
