not a good location if you want to be in the middle of tourist attraction. it's located about 10 mins from the city center where everything is. toooo quiet at night and on days when you're not personally motivated to get out of the comfort of your bed, you probably won't. no good restaurants to eat around the neighborhood besides the mexican restaurant attached to the hotel so you have to go to the city center to eat.

“Kinda out of the way, but good value”

I stayed three nights here for the NHL Premiere weekend. Located out near Holesovice, it wasn't terribly convenient to the classic tourist areas, but there were tram stops nearby, and a metro station about 10 minute walk (or 1 tram stop if you timed it right). I chose the area because of the price, previous reviews and it's relative proximity both to the sights and to the O2 arena - that tram - #5 I think - worked perfectly and allowed me to bypass the crowds waiting for the metro. The hotel itself looked like a remodeled communist era hotel (the door latches were the giveaway here), but they've basically done a good job. The restaurant, a Mexican theme, was serviceable (I'm from Arizona and a bit picky about my Mexican), the breakfast was good. For internet access, if you don't have a laptop, you can use the one sitting on the bar for free, which was a little awkward, but hey it was there. As other reviews I've seen have stated, there really isn't much in the immediate vicinity, so expect to use transportation unless you're content to hang in the restaurant/bar every night.

“A good quality hotel with excellent transport links to the city centre”

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet hotel in the suburb of the city. It was a comfortable and clean place to stay, and within easy reach of the city centre, with good, regular tram and metro links. Overall service was good. Reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable; breakfast staff worked hard to try to keep the wide range of food and drink topped up. The hotel's bar is a pleasant place, but it shut at 11pm, and outside tables even earlier. Unfortunately the evening bar/restaurant staff we encountered were decidedly slow, however, taking up to 20 minutes to serve just two beers - and that was with the bar just comfortably busy! Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you get a good deal.

“Etwas abseits, aber mit guter Anbindung”

Das Hotel ist einfach gehalten, Frühstück war okay, das Restaurant im Hotel ist aber eher nicht zu empfehlen. Zimmer war ruhig und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Prima hotel, nette kamer en personeel was vriendelijk. Het hotel ligt een eindje uit het centrum, maar tram voor de deur en metro station op 10 minuten lopen maakte dat geen probleem. Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Das Hotel ist sehr schnell von der Autobahn Dresden-Prag zu erreichen. Es liegt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße, die aber in den Abendstunden nicht groß befahren wird. Der Check In lief probelmlos ab. Man weist sich mit der Bestätigungsmail von aus, bekommt einen Anmeldebogen, den man ausfüllt und nach 2 Minuten hat man seinen Zimmerschlüssel in der Hand. Die netten Damen und Herren an der Rezeption sprechen deutsch. Bei Anmeldung wird eine Kaution verlangt: Kreditkartenummer oder 50 Euro in bar. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, ein Bad mit Wanne und ein separater Raum mit WC. Leider wurde unser Wunsch, ein Zimmer zur Hofseite, nicht berücksichtigt. Es war aber nicht schlimm. Nach einer Stadttour durch Prag fällt man abends sowieso ins Bett und schläft gleich. Das Frühstück war deftig. Freunde der fettigen und warmen Küche kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Ich mag lieber Brötchen, Wurst und Kaffee - auch das gab es reichlich. Etwa 50 Meter vom Hotel entfernt war eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Mit der Linie 12 gelangt man nach 9 Stationen in die Altstadt. Tageskarten für die Bahn gibt es an der Hotelrezeption. Hotel Plaza Alta: für einen Kurztrip nach Prag zu empfehlen.

“Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel”

Dieses Hotel bietet alles, was es verspricht. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, das gesamt Personal ist bemüht, den Aufenthalt so schön, wie irgend möglich zu gestalten. Alle sind sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. EInfach klasse! Das Frühstück war große Klasse. Sowohl Brötchen, Brot als auch Rührei und Würstchen waren immer vorhanden. Eine große Auswahl, für jeden was dabei. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenso Klasse: Sowohl mit der Metro als auch der Straßenbahn kommt man sehr schnell direkt ins Zentrum Prags. Dieses Hotel kann ich jedem empfehlen und werde es bei einem kommenden Besuch wieder gern wählen.

Gutes, renoviertes Hotel mit ausreichendem Frühstück. Tiefgaragenpreis ca 17 EUR/Nacht schon happig. Straßenbahnhaltestelle 100 m, U-Bahnstation 500 m (Tageskarte ca 4 EUR/Pers.)
