Serves buffet breakfast in the morning and an international menu throughout the day, including an hors d'oeuvres buffet. “would definitely go back”

Good quality hotel. breakfast was an additional 10 euros per person and was good value. Was surprised and disappointed to find that the gym and swimming pool facilities were at an additional cost - I really think that hotel facilities should be made available free to all residents and chargeable to non-residents as is the norm in the UK. The hotel is outside the city centre but conveniently next door to a shopping centre and metro station. It takes just 15 mins to get into the centre of town by metro. Unfortunately 1 of our party was releaved of her purse by a pick-pocket in the old town square. However the hotel reception staff came into their own in dealing with the police so that it could be officially reported from the comfort of the hotel.

Area recommendations

Lesser town - on the other side of Charles Bridge for it's bars and restaurants and close proximity to the Castle, which is a must-do.

“Good clean hotel, but a little way from the City Centre”

Generally a good hotel. Breakfast was very good. However, surpirisingly you had to pay extra to use the hotel pool!

“Excellent hotel”

The Panorama Hotel provides wonderful views of Prague and has a fun shopping mall right out the back door. Another few steps gets you to the Metro for easy traveling around the city. Excellent buffet breakfast.

“Extremely Satisified”

I was very impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff and all the services provided. The transport links to the centre of town are excellent. Overall, very satisfied and if and when I return to Prague will definately return to this hotel.

“Good Value, Not So Good Location”

A very good value, but far from the Old City. However, it is only 4 or 5 metro stops away. If you don't mind that, then Panorama is a very good choice. Quiet, away from street noise.

“Great Deal”

This was a very good hotel. No Problems. It is a little out of town, but next to the subway, which is very easy to use and cheap. Room was good and clean. Staff were helpful. They could provide free use to the pool, but other than that it was a great place. Very good price for what you get. I would definitely recommend this place. Thanks

Getting around

take the subway, only 100K for a day ticket, and you can ride anywhere

Must see

Cesky Krumlov was a great day trip, i would recommend this one.

“Nice hotel, nice stay”

We have stayed in this hotel for one night, and overall experience is that hotel is pretty good, althogh a bit far from the center of the Prague. The hotel room is clean and staffs are very helpful.

Area recommendations

The center of the town is probably better since public transportation is better there.

“Not Impressed”

This hotel was a waste of money. The price we paid for the room was not bad, but the room itself was terrible. The bed was tiny and uncomfortable and the sheets did not look very clean. Also, you have to pay extra for amenities such as the pool which are usually free when you stay over night. Another thing was that this hotel was not in a good location, we had to take the subway to the city center and there were several connections we had to make which can be confusing when you do not speak the language. I was really disappointed with this hotel.

The city center of Prague is absolutely beautiful.

“Great time but having done it would not go back.”

Praque is an amazing place, but having done it twice would not go back. Once you've seen the sights !! Hotel Panorama was excellent location wise staff friendly.

“good choice”

Hotel was clean and spacious, staff helpful even though some struggled with English. Rooms were more than ample. There is a metro station a minute from hotel which was easy to use and only four stops from Old Town. There is a shopping arcade only minutes away, with a supermarket, handy to buy drinks and snacks to take out. Hotel restaurant was reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and was served from 6:30- 10:30, so didn't have to get up too early. Only downside, building work on both sides of hotel, but with windows shut and air conditioning on didn't cause to much trouble. I would recommend this hotel.

Area recommendations

I would recommend the Old Town area as its very attractive and full of history, some really nice restaurants/bars along the river on the Castle side.

Getting around

I would recommend using the metros, they're quick, frequent and cheap, pick up a map from hotel and its easy to understand, you get a ticket from the newspapere sellers close to metro station.
