This is a beautiful hotel, set in a former bank it's very grand. We stayed in a room on the top floor, opposite the lifts, we didn't suffer any noise pollution- the soundproofing is excellent abs we slept very well. The breakfast is plentiful with nice touches like champagne and freshly made eggs, meats, pastries etc. The spa is lovely and the staff are wonderful, very eager to help and most friendly. My only complaint is that the water pressure in the bathroom is s bit fickle- sometimes nice and strong, other tints weak. I'd definitely stay here on future trips to Prague.
We shared a junior suite in the golden Prague residence, self catering apartment. It was so clean and very comfortable our suite was cleaned daily and we always had fresh towels.bed linen was changed at least twice in the week.great service in a self catering apt.we also had free use of the adjoining hotels spa,it was excellent. The apt complex was a few minutes walk from the centre of Prague, near all amenities, restaurants etc.we loved the Jazz boat in the evening and spent a couple of hours enjoying the musical events near the square most nights.Fabulous city will definitely return to stay at the Golden Prague Residence.Superb value . .Bar Kroma is a must for Czech food and beer ,so cheap but good quality.
I cannot praise this hotel enough. Six of us stayed at the hotel and from the pick up from the airport to dropping us off at the airport our expectations were exceeded. The staff were the most welcoming I have ever come across, the dinner was fabulous and the wines brilliant . We were in the suite (room 101) which was incredible, how do they keep those beautiful chandeliers so clean.
Our only criticism was some of the breakfast items were cold rather than hot when we got them to our plates.
However a minor point. Overall excellent hotel highly recommend to anyone who is looking for one of the best 5 stars in Prague.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Executive room was well worth the extra, with the executive lounge offering food and drink (alcoholic and non alcoholic) from 11.30 til 8. Rooms very clean, hotel beautifully decorated and hotel staff friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a really good time at the hotel, found it very reasonably priced for such a big name and it was a 15 minute walk or 5 minute tube ride to the the centre. We had a window facing the foyer but as it was under a glass roof and illuminated at night it was a decent trade off for views of the city itself.
