“Great hotel for a short break”
An excellent choice for a short stay in Prague. Very clean, breakfast buffet very good - fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, eggs etc. Room was fairly small but perfectly adequate, good air conditioning. Only one pillow each on bed but asked for another and no problem. The only thing wrong is that the sauna and "fitness" was only accessible on paying an extra fee which, according to the receptionist, wasn't worth it. Still, there was so much to see in beautiful Prague that we didn't have time for such things anyway. Hotel very convenient for tube and there is a nice little cafe adjacent to the station which does fantastic red sauerkraut!
“Excellent hotel- A little away from center”
Excellent rooms and breakfast. Although walking distance is not far from the center of Prague, the neighborhood is not the best to arrive late at night with children. Not dangerous, but a little lonely. Not easy to access by foot. Any way, we managed to get there, and had an excellent stay.
“Quiet location”
Good clean hotel. Needs air con as rooms were 25 degrees even with system on cooling. Opened windows but noisey so you would not sleep with them open. Did miss tea & coffee making facility in room as they charged £2 or 50 koruna for tea or coffee.Full breakfast does not mean anything hot it was continental bread, cereals, cheese ham & yoghurt. Location is nice and quiet. Staff very helpful & pleasant.
“Very good and clean hotel”
This hotel is an excellent option, good price, clean and the staff is very friendly. The location is good, close to the metro station, but it is quite far (walking distance) from the old town and the castle area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. TIP: avoid taking taxis in Prague.
“Close to airport but overpriced”
The hotel is about 20 minutes away (by car) from the International Airport in daily traffic and it took me less then 15 minutes to get to the Airport by motoriksha in the night. I was promised a free airport pickup and breakfast, and I got both without problems. They were even kind enough to feed me for free on the day of arrival and not on the next day's morning, since I was going to leave at night. I recommend the hotel's restaurant service - first, it was not more expensive then average restaurant, and second - the food was tasty. The room was quite clean for India, but not REALLY clean. I would recommend to have slippers to use the shower, as the imperfections of cleanness were quite visible there. The AC was ancient and very noisy. But when it worked, it kept the room fairly cool. There was a real difficulty to get some stuff to fix the AC when it suddenly stopped to work. It took me one hour to convince them to relate to my problem. In this hour the room became very hot. The bed was comfortable. There were no mosquito nets in the room. Take that in mind if you are thinking to sleep with open windows. Now (beginning of April) is not a rainy season, but as soon as I opened the window in the night - entered a few mosquitoes. It is not the worst hotel I stayed, but the most expensive for this quality. Very much overpriced. This kind of hotel would likely cost under 1000Rs in other area. But I couldn't find anything cheaper so close to the Mumbai airport.
“Good value for money”
Hotel is great value for money it is less than you would pay for a grotty bed and breakfast in England. The room was comfortable and clean. I can imagine if you had a room overlooking the main road then the traffic noise in rush hour would be a pain, for tunately our room overlooked the side road. The breakfast is continental being tea, coffee, juices, cereal, breads, jams, cheese, ham etc but nothing cooked. Location is good being 5 mins walk from the tram stops and 10 mins walk (just under half a mile) from the museum end of Wencelesslass square. Overall a great base to see Prague from.
“A Typical Prague Hotel”
I stayed there for 3 nights at the beginning of January. Checking in was problem free and the reception staff were very polite. The TV in the room was all in German so unless you speak German you can forget watching any television during your stay. The room was very clean and bathroom was spotless with good facilities. The matress was uncomfotable although didnt take much time to get used to. Take your own pillow because your only given one very thin, small pillow. Breakfast was ham/salami/cheese, with bread rolls or crossaints, or cereal, with tea and coffee available. Good location, 10 minute walk in a straight line to the museum and the square. Great place to eat around the corner called the Pizza Collisium, very good food and cheap as chips!
“I will be returning”
This is my third visit to Prague and I enjoyed this marvelous City so much I took a friend and she was amazed by the wonderful surroundings-the hotel and staff fantastic-very helpfull-must be carfull with taxi drivers and agree a price before your journey better still book via the hotel-we found the evenings quite long so some kind of entertainment or english T.V would be a bonus-"WELL DONE ST.GEORGE".
“Will go back”
Convienently located a block and half away from a subway stop, very clean and good help, makes me ready to go back to St. G. For the money--it was a great buy. Only problem was the matress--needs replacing. Slept on the floor with my matress and it was fine. Good breakfast and internet cafe. Nice place to relax.
“happy times,”
