“Good location in Prague”

The Red Lion was conveniently located on the street up to the castle and down to the lower old city. The restaurants in the surrounding area are quite nice. The staff in the hotel was extremely helpful and polite.

Area recommendations
Old city is a the reason to go to Prague. A walking tour will show most visitors all they should see.

“Hotel familial, bien situé dans la vieille ville”

Un hôtel familial, très agréable. Ne vous fiez pas à la réception désuette, les chambres sont très bien et spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais sans plus. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. Emplacement au pied du chateau, de bons restos mais aussi de bons cafés alentours.

“Leider höchstens 2 Sterne statt der beworbenen 4”

Man ist ja gewöhnt, dass es in vielen Ländern einen Stern Diskrepanz gibt zum deutschen Standard. Hier ist aber fraglich, ob ein Hotel mit diesem eher unfreundlichen Service, den dunklen schlecht gestalteten Zimmern, mäßiger Sauberkeit und schwachem Frühstück in D, A oder CH überhaupt zwei Sterne kriegen kann. Was hervorragend ist, ist die Lage; das Hotel eher enttäuschend!

“Red Lion Praga ottimamente ma carente servizi”

Hotel ottimamente collocato, camera spaziosa e comoda e con un certo fascino ma impegnativa a raggiungersi (3° piano no ascensore e scala ripida). Pulizia accettabile; colazione mediocre ( frase celebre: " per espresso pagare"), servizi completamente assenti. C'è una stella di troppo.

“hotel red lion praga- posizione ottimale ma dovrebbe avere 1 o 2 stelle in meno”

volevo segnalare che l'hotel red lion non è assolutamente in linea con quanto ci si dovrebbe aspettare da un hotel 4stelle - pulizia appena sufficiente,servizi sufficienti, colazione anonima e limitata-personale non di livello. L'unica nota veramente positiva è la posizione incantevole e ottimale per poter visitare i quartieri di praga1 a piedi. Certamente il prezzo da noi pagato non è stato alto ma da un 4 stelle ci si aspetta molto di più!

“Hotel Red Lion di Praga - Albergo in ottima posizione centrale”

L'albergo situato in centro, consente di raggiungere il cuore della città in cinque minuti a piedi. La stanza era grande e pulita. Nota negativa la colazione piuttosto scarna per un 4 stelle e i dolci erano immangiabili (solo di due tipi e di scarsa qualità). Il personale era poco cortese.

Area recommendations
Consiglierei la Citta Vecchia, ancora più centrale.

“nicht empfehlenswert da mit nicht vorhandenen 4* geworben wird”

Das Hotel ist sehr schön was die Deckenmalerei und den historischen Kern angeht. Die Lage direkt unter der Burg ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Aber nur hierfür lohnt es nicht in diesem Haus abzusteigen. Der Service war vom 1. bis 3 Tag ( jeweils 2 Damen des Hotels) akzeptabel. Da uns am 4. Tag jedoch der für uns neue Kellner unsere 2 Tassen Kaffee zum Frühstück auf den Empfangstheke zum selber holen stellte hier nun die entsprechende Beurteilung. Auf Rückfrage warum er den Kaffe nicht bringe gab es die patzige Antwort man dürfe um diese Uhrzeit (9.15h) noch nicht vor dem Hotel auf der kleinen Terrasse frühstücken. Dieses koste ihn Strafe. Auf meine Rückfrage warum das bei seinen Kolleginnen die beiden vorangegangen Tage funktioniert hat bekam ich dann die Auskunft er habe keine Lust mehr darüber zu reden und er ging. Bei einem 4* Haus erwarte ich auch keinen Schimmel in der Dusche. Allerdings war das Zimmer samt Bad und das Hotel sauber. Selbst ein 3* Haus hat eine Kofferablage, einen 2. Zahnputzbecher, eine 2. Rolle Toilettenpapier. Und der Fön sollte nicht fast von der Wand fallen. Nur von der Größe des Zimmers, dieses war recht groß, leiten sich keine 4* ab.
