“This is a great hotel, helpful, friendly staff, great character, great location, highly recommended”
Will be using this hotel on my next trip to Prague. The staff couldn't be more helpful, the resturant has great character as do the rooms in the hotel. Centrally located. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.
“Perfect!”
We loved this hotel. Really, it's one of the best that have ever found anywhere. It is right in old town yet in it's own little square where it is very quiet at night. The location could not be better. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful with everything. They have a great breakfast buffet with hot (eggs, sausages, bacon) and cold foods (breads, boiled eggs, cheeses, fruit, etc), pastries, juice, coffee and tea that is included when you stay there. They also have a wonderful Italian restaurant at the hotel that we ate at twice. We want to go back and we would certainly stay there.
“gem in the heart of the city”
Great location, just a block from one of the main squares. The hotel is tucked in an old courtyard, which is nice as the rooms are a bit quieter (double windows help too) when people are out partying into the early morning. It is a ~15 walk from the main train station which is nice too, ~10 minutes to the Charles Bridge. Breakfast in the 13th century basement cafe was impressive. The food was just decent, but the atmosphere was great. If you are into spending money for good food, the seafood restaurant Rybi Trh in the same courtyard has some of the best food we had on our three week trip.
“Metamorphis - perfect!!”
There is no better place to stay to orient yourself to Prague. The location is brilliant and there's an assortment of dining and shopping options in the immediate vicinity. Easy walk to the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Strahov Monastery & Prague Tower. As well, they include a very generous breakfast buffet with choices for non-meat eaters as well. WiFi included without charge was a very nice plus also. Comfortable and clean rooms. I had a view overlooking the court outside with restaurants and shops and still had piece of mind when closing the windows. Wonderful. The beds were very soft - pro/con depending on your preference, but all was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend to everyone going to Prague. Can't do much better unless you want rich accommodations. For regular people, great value for your travel money.
“27th May 2011”
Superb hotel in a great location. Rooms are individually furnished with oak beams and good quality furniture. Staff cannot do enough to help you - a real find and well worthy of recommendation! Breakfasts good - pleanty of choice and all good qaulity My second time at the hotel and I do plan to return again!!
“Spotless stay”
Very good hotel, old building, well maintained. Great bed, everything working, spacious room, beautiful surroundings. In the very centre of Prague. Speak good English. Breakfast very good.
“The best hotel gem in Prague!!”
This hotel is amazing and charming! If you want to experience the old town area in a wonderful 300 year old building, this is it. Perfect location, literally a 4 minute stroll to the Astronomical clock and Lady of Tyn church. Breakfast was included in another great old building's cellar, just across the narrow cobblestone street. The hotel desk staff all spoke English and were always very helpful. Our family had 3 rooms, each was different but all were clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. The bathrooms look new, were spotlessly clean. Can't think of any downside. We were so glad we chose not to stay at a large chain hotel, and instead found this gem. If we are ever able to return to Prague again, we will definitely chose to stay here again.
“Prague best hotel”
I stayed many times in this magnific hotel and I love it allways. The location is superb (just few minutes from the main attractions), the rooms are big and the service is 1st quality. I will return allways to this hotel.
“Great location, pretty room.”
Great location very central. Nice, large, quirky room with lovely double bed. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Good value for money. Surprised at how cold the weather was!!
“Best location in Prague”
The room was great, especially the bathroom, and the included breakfast was much better than most European versions. Location, location, location! I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Prague.
