“Great hotel”
It's only 5 minutes walk to Metro station. The room is modern and clean. Breakfast is good.
“Good hotel close to the city centre”
The hotel has nice location (5 minutes walk from subway and train). The room was rather clean, with king size bed although small, but it didn't matter to us since we came to see the city and didn't stay in room much. The staff at the reception was helpful and addressed our quires promptly. The breakfast was ok but the coffe could have been better.
“Comfort, value, location, service”
Three of us booked into 2 quite different rooms, each with charming characteristics. Ours had French doors opening onto a tiny balcony overlooking the street. Our room had a faint musty smell although it could have been from the heat and the humidity from the street below. As is the case in other European cities where older buildings are combined and refurbished as hotels, the elevator was barely wide enough to fit a suitcase and a large person. Luckily there was a slightly larger secondary elevator but you had to go up a flight of stairs to access it. The rooms, esp the bathrooms, were attractive, comfortable and more spacious than other hotels of similar class. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We could buy tram tickets and obtain very specific directions from them thus making us feel quite at home in wandering the city. The location was just right... far enough away from the central traffic and noise but close enough for an easy walk to most of the attractions. The tram stop was within steps, and the subway station was 3 blocks away at Charles Square when we were too tired to walk back on our daily adventures. The breakfasts were basic but had enough variety to alter your choice each morning. All in all, this hotel met every expectation, and more.
“Good Experince.. Central”
I'll recomend this hotel. My room had a problem with the bathroom, but the next day was the check out so I didn't buther no change the room. Breakfast is excellent. However, do not drink a water from the minibar.. is $8 dollar a bottle!
“Great hotel and great value for money”
My Mum and I were delighted with Hotel Manes, we paid a very reasonable price on expedia and got great service, good quality breakfast and a lovely room. It is 10 mins away from Wencelas Square and 5 mins away is the stop for trams that go over the river to the Castle. We were in room 309 which is the family room and had lots of space and the windows opened onto a small balcony, I believe 209/409/509 were all the same so I would request these rooms if possible. We also were on a late flight home and they let us keep the room until 3.30pm which was a great help. If I go back to Prague I would certainly stay here again.
