“Convenient Petit Hotel”
Hotel is close to National Theatre and walking distance to Estates Theatre and State Opera. Very close to tram station but I did not have to use tram even as I could walk to everywhere. One disadvantage of the convenient location is the noise at night as tram in Prague runs all night. Hotel is not gorgeous but it has medieval charm and provides what you need. Cold and warm selection of food at breakfast buffet.
“Love This Hotel”
This is the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Elite. The best thing about this hotel is the location ~ just a few steps from the main road, Tesco store about a half a block away, and walking distance to Old Town Square. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast is great. You can't go wrong with this hotel.
“Great location but just about makes the 3* mark”
Hotel was in a great location close to wensaclav square, old town market, the river, and charles bridge. However, the hotel is in need of a revamp. The corridors and rooms were dark. The strong smell of cigarettes welcomes you as you arrive. I wouldn't stay there again. Bathroom was surprisingly clean but the beds were so uncomfortable!! Spa was great though!!
“decent hotel if you get a good rate.”
We had a non smoking room, however the room (101) was next to the housekeeping quarters and they all puffed like it was the end of the world, meaning that our room always stank. considering they will fine €100 if you smoke in your room, this was a bit of a joke. Breakfast, service etc however were all standard for a good boutique hotel.
“Acceptable”
This hotel is simple, but nice enough to stay. It is very well located, and you can walk to most of the nice things to see. You are also close to tram and metro stations. Beds are not great, but comfortable enough. There was no parking available to us, that was bad. In general terms I would recommend it for the price.
“Central hotel, full of character”
This hotel was very centrally located - great for sightseeing. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless and looked new. Our room looked out onto a courtyard and was very peaceful and quiet. This is definitely a hotel I would return to.
“A good hotel in a good location”
The Elite provides good value for money and is in a very convenient location. It is a very old building (with the inevitable problems that that implies) but it is certainly full of character. The breakfast is excellent.. The area is likely to be good for business travellers and tourists. There ia ametro station within 50 yards and a tram stop (several routes) is even closer.
“Good choice in Prague”
Hotel Elite is easy to find; close to a subway stop. The staff are very pleasant, helpful, and speak fluent English. The sleeping room was exactly what I reserved and the breakfast buffet is fantastic.
“Prague - Hotel Elite, use it”
Great hotel, very good location, buffet breakfast was very substantial. Hotel staff very very helpful in deed, I would certainly use this hotel again
“Very impressed. Centrally located. Tesco around the corner. Very friendly & helpful staff.”
Brilliant small bijou hotel located within walking distance to all major tourist attractions. All the staff spoke excellent English and were helpful to the extreme. For us non politically correct travellers it was surprising to find one could smoke in the bar and designated bedrooms. Free use of the hotel computer was a bonus once the Czech keyboard was mastered. One minor criticism was that there was not tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Breakfast buffet was great to set you up for a day's exploration. We travelled especially for the Christmas markets and were not disappointed. The weather was very seasonal so if you visit late November/early December, wrap up warm and take good walking boots/shoes. Would certainly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money.
