“Brilliant Hotel”
Stayed here from 17.11.11 - 20.11.11, spotless rooms, lovely and warm, clean restaurant with plenty of breakfast choice. Staff were really helpful, bar staff couldn't do enough for you, same at reception. Perfect location, walking distance from the main restaurants etc but worth at look a the local Czech bar's, very reasonably priced & good fun. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this Hotel, can't wait to go back, it's BRILL!!! :-)
“I would recommend this hotel”
This Hotel was in the right location, within walking distance to all main sightseeing attractions. The room was a Triple room with 2 single beds and a sofa bed, surprisingly the sofa bed was very comfortable, also a large bathroom, TV and fridge, breakfast was varied something for everyone, more than adequate. The only downfall for the hotel was the lack of access to the outside terrace, this was only accessible when the restaurant was open for breakfast, we have just returned from Prague and the weather was surprisingly hot for May, and it would have been nice to sit outside and have a drink before going out for the evening. I would defiantly recommend this Hotel; the staff were pleasant and helpful.
“Great breakfast.”
The breakfast is very good.
“Don't bother with the executive room!”
We have stayed here before and were lured by the traditional looking art nouveau furniture. Last time we assumed all rooms had this and were slightly disappointed when we arrived to find out that the room was almost like a standard travelodge hotel. However, it was clean, friendly and in an ideal location. This time we decided to book the same hotel but opt for the more expensive executive option. We did this and were expecting something a bit more special. We had a nice welcome from the staff when checking in. Again though, unfortunately we were disappointed with the room. It did have the art nouveau furniture but, the wardrobe was wedged closed with a folded piece of card! The mattress was very uneven and peaked in the centre giving us the feeling of rolling out! There is a card in the room informing guests of the various available services. It states a variety of additional services available to executive rooms- a free drink on arrival, flowers in the room, a basket of fruit, late check out, air conditioning etc. We were given none of these. It was very warm especially in the room but our air conditioning was not switched on, we didn't realise until it was too late that we should have had it and thought perhaps it was an additional extra. We had a perfectly nice time and did not let it spoil our holiday but it certainly disappointed us.
“centre without the crowds”
this hotel is very welcoming and the rooms are spacious and very clean although mine didn't have any of the antique furniture one can see on their site. You'll find compimentary tea there but no coffee and good quality toiletries in the bathroom. The location is ideal as it is central, only two minutes from the river then a leisurly fifteen minutes' walk from Charles Bridge and five minutes fron the National Opera House and yet out of the noisy touristic crowds. Buffet breakfast was very good and offered a different choice every day. The staff are attentive that nothing is missing and clear the tables as soon as the guests have left them, so no clutter. The bar is pleasant and well stocked with whatever you may want. It is a shame there isn't a restaurant open for dinners, but plenty of those anyway (some very good and reasonably priced) all around the hotel. Free Wifi is available in the bar area as well as three computers in case you haven't got your laptop. Most staff (except for one)on the reception desk are very pleasant and helpful and their excellent linguistic skills go a long way to make life easier for the foreign guests. We were disappointed not to find the announced 6pm shuttle at the airport and had to take a taxi. The hotel taxi we ordered for our departure was right on the dot of 8.30am. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
“Good Value”
The service was great, the manager Raissa was very helpful, but be aware, hotel standards in the Czech Republic are different from the US or other European countries, it is not a 4 star hotel, probably a 3 star hotel. Was always clean, breakfast buffet was decent and the location is great, walking distance to the the bridge, Prague Castle, Powder Tower and Astronomical Clock. No carpet at rooms, take slippers, good Thai restaurant across street. They will provide you with maps. Receptionist speak good English. They have taxi/cab service at hotel with good flat rates.
“Very pleased with the hotel”
We were very happy with our stay at Caesar Palace hotel. The hotel was conveniently situated and was close to all the main attractions. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the noise levels at times..we were right next to a cleaners cupboard and the cleaners were often outside at 7am which woke us up. Also there was a bit of noise upstairs with people walking heavily across the floor and a lot of moving furniture. Apart from that, we were pleased with our stay and would go back again.
“Great location, comfortable, clean and friendly!”
We were very happy with the Caesers Palace hotel its location was ideal about a 10 minute walk from Charles Bridge. We couldn't fault the hotel at all and plan to return in the summer when it's warmer as the temperature was -10 outside but lovely and warm in the hotel. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet and definately filled you up for the days sight seeing. Was a little disappointed with the hotels sauna which was an additional charge and quite small.
“Good hotel for staying”
There is an old furniure at hotel and there is no slippers in the room
“A great place to stay in a wonderful city.”
The hotel was in a convenient location for walking to all major sights and was very close to major tram stops. Not to mention just around the corner from the U Flecku historic beer hall which is well worth a visit! The hotel staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had very noisy neighbours on the first night of our stay, and when we mentioned this to reception in the morning, there was no hesitation by them and we were moved to a new (better appointed and quiet) room. The reception staff were also very helpful when asked about nearby restaurants. The hotel bar is ok. It is convenient and not hugely over priced for hotel standards, but there are better bars to visit very close to the hotel. Breakfast in the hotel is typically continental and quite basic. But there was always plenty of fruit, bread etc. I could not fault this hotel. It was a great place to stay in a wonderful city.
