“Great price and easy access to metro”
Overall Prague was disappointing. It's lost the Euro feel and being over run by Macdonalds, Subway, cheap and casinos.
“Nice room, not nice neighborhood”
In a shady neighborhood, but at close to a subway and within walking distance to a beautiful park. Wish there was a gym!!! Based on the reviews, I thought the 'fitness center' was one, but turned out to be a pay for service massage and tanning spa.
“Prague Hotel Near Tram & Metro”
This hotel was located in a suburb of Prague but was right across the street for the subway and tram station. It had free parking and a buffet breakfast and was modern with well appointed rooms. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
“Will visit again”
1 minute walk from the Subway, very convenient price, free parking and internet, very nice furnished rooms
“Great Value”
I had a great stay in November at Hotel Absolutum. The hotel is about a mile-and-a-half from the City Center, so not in the thick of things, but still totally convenient -- the subway and some tram lines are just across the street. The neighborhood itself is a little weird in that it is semi-industrial, but you won't be hanging out here anyway. The room was great -- very large and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was wonderful. Given the prices in Prague, this hotel is a serious value. When I was choosing a hotel the other comparably priced hotels were near Prague Castle -- and I am glad I ended up at the Absolutum -- much less touristy and equally as convenient.
“Greatest Hotel! Huge surprise for the price, easily worth double what we paid!”
This is a great hotel. Very convenient to the metro, and very nice inside. It was quite a surprise to find this nice place for this price. I wish I'd known not to take a taxi from the train station, I should have emailed the hotel for metro instructions and saved $70. All in all, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone. BTW, the desk clerk was super friendly and provided us information on everything in the city!
“Great Prague Bargain Hotel”
This is a great bargain and the Metro is just accross the street allowing you to be in old town quickly. The only complaint is the hotel is not easy to find by car even with a GPS because of all the construction in the area....not the hotels fault. Rooms are nice and have AC. The breakfast is excellent and parking is free. Have stayed there twice this summer.
“Location a plus and a minus”
The hotel is located just outside the Holesovice subway station and international train station. It is not however, a very pretty neighborhood. There is also a lack of stores and restaurants in the area other than McDonald's and the hotel restaurant. I did feel very safe and it's a short subway ride into the center. It's a great place to stay if you come and leave via the international train station as I was. The room is modern and it was very quiet. Breakfast was good. I do feel they could serve it earlier, on the weekend it opens at 8am, and I like to get a good start on the day. Overall, for the price, it's a great deal.
“Excellent Hotel”
It might be mentioned that the hotel is just one block away from the train (from Berlin) and underground (inner city) stations. Wonderfully convenient.
“Interior is a true 4 star”
Excellent position if you are looking for a place to stay for one-two days. About 30-45 min walking from the historical center. Very easy to find by car and also very convenient if you drive by car to the airport. Price is excellent for the quality of the rooms. The only problem is that the breakfast (included in the price btw) starts only at 8am, a little bit too late... I did not have the chance to see if the food is ok or not...
