A very nice hotel.

Posted 11-Nov-2014
Pros: Standard of hotel throughout was very good and I can't fault the staff as they would help you in any way they can.
Location: Approx 15 mins. walk from main attraction. There are some bars and restaurants nearby the hotel!
Had a great time in beautiful Prague. A 15minutes walk to Wenceslas square from hotel. Plenty of transport link if you don't like walking for walks as we did! Abundant of restaurants and bars, but try the locals as they are very reasonable!

Good location, nice staff, uncomfortable room

Nice hotel but I could not sleep well because they turn off the air conditioned at night. Too noisy when windows open.

Dear Guest, thank you very much for choosing our hotel to stay in Prague and I am pleased that in general you have enjoyed your stay. Please note regarding air-conditioning it must be misunderstanding as we don´t switch it off during the night of course. I hope to have a chance to welcome you again at our hotel. Best regards. Great Hotel

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: Service, breakfast and the price.
Cons: Be good if you could sit outside past 10pm - but local laws prevent it and you have to take your drinks inside.
Location: 10 mins walking to Wenceslas Square. Tram and Metro stop at IP Pavlova will get you anywhere in the city for only 24Kc and its a very efficient.
Great place to stay and explore Prague. Very friendly and helpful staff - saw me looking at the music recitals and offered advice on which was on that day and the next. Wide choice of breakfasts to start the day. Walking distance to the top of Wenceslas Square and then a stroll down into the Old Town. Metro/Tram stop at IP Pavolva in case you got tired - Tram 22 takes you back from visiting the Castle across the river. Competitive room rate - especially as breakfast is included. Old world feel about the hotel but without the drawbacks.

great place to locate in prague

Posted 18-Jul-2014
Pros: room controls and room recently remodeled bathroom spotless but the bar downstairs must have been updated but still had antique feel
Cons: note to travelers most hotels in prague dont have window screens , didn't bother me but worried my wife when we did open the windows
Location: I think Gala's a resturant is about 300m down the main drag ,some nite clubs close by 2 need bypassed if you have small kids museum and yhe square an.
people very friendly, good location (could walk to most places)bus and cabs close by tram 2 blocks away always check on net before travel, was exceptionally hot, roon was very cool . hotel resturant was very good both in morning and evening don't be in a hurry.call ahead to get tranport to the hotel at a good price, then get lost on the back roads in the old town. high point on the trip caught a concert in the national museum just before they closed to remodel .

Good hotel close to city centre

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: As indicated, I thought the breakfast (in particular the hot food) was pretty basic. Definite room for improvement here.
Location: Good central location within walking distance of the old town.
Stayed two nights in a 'superior' twin room. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was good with a powerful hot shower and bath. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but breakfast was standard fare - nothing outstanding but good choice; average quality. The hotel staff were courteous and pleasant and arranged things such as airport car efficiently and without fuss. All in all, a very good hotel and excellent value. Would go again.
