Comfortable, central and very clean hotel.

Posted 23-Jul-2014
Pros: The situation and the staff.
Location: Central and only a few minutes away from the old town. There are many bars, restaurants and just round the corner from a huge shopping precinct.
We stayed 3 nights at the Majestic Grand Plaza and we were delighted with the reception service and the staff in general. The buffet is varied and the food nice. The hotel is next to all amenities and luckily on a very quiet street, which is a bonus. The staff is helpful and accommodating and will deal with any inconvenience (if any) at once.

Well situated, especially for the value.

Posted 19-Jul-2014
Cons: As a small gripe, the bar closes at 11pm. I'd have preferred it to stay open maybe another hour.
Very well situated. 10-15 minute relaxed walk from all the major old city sites, many restaurants near by, around the corner from the beer 'museum' and only a little further for the main street of bars. Friendly and helpful staff at reception and breakfast. Free Wifi in the lobby area, need to pay to get access in the rooms (£5-£7 per day depending on number of days). Good housekeeping team. The rooms were clean and upkept despite us leaving the room at awkward times.

Great hotel in a central area.

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Safe neighborhood with a large square and shopping centre less than two minutes walk away. Walkable distance to all the tourist hot spots (roughly fifteen minutes) but for tired legs there is a good network of trams and buses right by the hotel. Nothing to fault really. Couldn't have asked for better.

Prague Trip

Posted 16-Jul-2014
Pros: Most things, especially the very comfortable bed.
Cons: The bar closed at 23:00, even for residents, which is much too early.
Location: 2 minutes walk from the Palladium shopping centre and 5 minutes walk from the main tourist area.
Great hotel, great location. Room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Would stay again and have already recommended to friends.

Good Hotel close to Town Centre

Posted 15-Jul-2014
Pros: Good location, helpful staff, clean, good breakfasts
Cons: The bar in the hotel closed at 11:00pm, seemed a bit early - could do with it being open later.
Location: Walking tour of Prague, the Petrin tower (this is a bit of a walk from the hotel!!!), the Jewish quarter, the old Town
Stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel was very good and is convenient for the town, just a 5 minute walk away. The Staff in the Hotel were very pleasant and very helpful. Prague is a lovely City and 4 days isn't really enough time to see everything, although it can be quite tiring if you decide to walk everywhere as we did (you see much more this way) so 4 days was enough for this visit. Loads of things to see, would recommend doing one of the walking tours of the city with a guide who can give you lots of information, do this early in your stay, you will then see areas you can go back to at your leisure.

Grand Majestic Plaza,July14.

Posted 13-Jul-2014
Pros: Location and Standards
Cons: There only a couple of English Speaking TV channels and no pay to view facilities. Handy if you want a couple of hours break.
Location: easy to get to most of the "must see"places.
Located in a central position, but in a quiet side street. No views of the City but within a few minutes walk of many landmarks. Very friendly and helpful staff made for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Good standard of Food and Service at reasonable prices. An ideal base to explore Prague and about 25 minutes from the Airport, Taxi transfer arranged within minutes by the Hotel at a fixed price(680CZK-about £25)was very convenient. Comfy Bed and Pillows! Spotless Bathroom. Clean Air Conditioned Room. Large Shopping Mall/Eating places and M&S about 200yards away. Can extend checkout time(12noon), by arrangement, for later departure flights, at a very reasonable cost. They have got it sorted-highly recommended.

Great hotel for city break.

Great location, clean and efficient facilities; staff very helpful. Beds were super comfortable! Only negative about it is the hotel bar closes at 10pm.
