“Amazing hotel”

Gorgeous hotel, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect only a short walk from everything. It was quiet and comfortable and very clean.

“Would recommend to all friends”

I would recommend the Eurostar chain to anyone. Clean, close proximity to tourist attractions and public transportation. staff was pleasant and responded to all questions promptly.

“Win some...Lose some”

Definitely a LOSER... Hotel chain buys old building slaps on a coat of paint and buys or lease some nice lobby furniture and then sticks u in a broom closet!!! Our turn at bad hotel karma!!! If youre gonna be a sucker,be a quiet one!! Not even close to 4star

Area recommendations
Close to the old city or across the river by the castle. Watch the taxi's. really bandits..use only 3*** taxi's. Go see the nue old synagogue and the graveyard. Very cool especially the story of Golem. Center square is great and Italian restaurant by the watch tower is fabulous.

“Good Cheap Lodging in Prague”

Eurostar David was a very nice hotel in Prague. The rooms were modern and clean and the whole hotel was very well kept. We were a little nervous before arriving about the quality based on the extremely low rate we paid. Really the only drawback was the hotel was about a 15-20 minute walk from the Old Town. Overall the hotel was great with really the only drawback being the walk to most of the major attractions in Prague. Would recommend to anyone on a budget!

“Pretty good for a cheap stay”

The hotel was nicer than I expected. Although the rooms were small and a little tight...it was sufficient for a short stay where we only slept in the room and spent the rest of day out.

Area recommendations
Old Town instead of New Town.
Getting around
Easy enough to walk around. But if you take the subway be sure to validate your ticket before getting onto the train. Otherwise you could get a hefty fine.
What to pack
Comfortable shoes...cobble stones hurt after a while.
Must see
The Oldest Medieval Bar. It's by the large staircase up to the Castle. It's all dark inside and downstairs is awesome looking like a dungeon. Food presentation is unique and beer comes in large beer mugs....you could imagine men drunkenly spending their time here in Medieval times.

Outdoor Festivals in the Old Town square....affordable street vendor food.

Outdoor bar on the River during optimal seasonal conditions.

“Great service, good hotel, bed needs work.”

The location and environs of the hotel are excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Prague is a great walking city and I was able to easily walk to most sites that I wanted to see. Public transportation is very near the hotel. There are five cafes within a half block with good food and good prices. The housekeeping staff was excellent and I loved the opening skylights. I had two issues during my two week stay and they were delt with promptly. Breakfast was abundant and good. The only downside to my stay was the bed. The bed's top quilting could be thicker, a high end plush mattress pad could be a cheaper fix. I would go back.

Area recommendations
If you are going to Prague, Praha, stay in "Praha 1." The city is broken-up into districts of at least 10. Praha 1 is where most of the sites are and you can walk easily to most, if not all, of the older sections. If you stay in the outer areas, which are newer, you will have to find transportation to and from the area.
Dining
Dining in Prague is an experience. I truly did not have a bad meal there. If you are looking for something special try anything from the Kampa Group. Cafe's are everywhere. Try the smaller cafe's and I think you will be suprised. Great dishes can be had for $10 to $15 USD everywhere. If you have never been outside the US, beware of the "seat charge." This is an additional service fee for eating-in. It is not much, but something we are not used to. They have the fee in the M.E. as well.

“Quick walk to anything! Just close enough. Loved it!”

Might have liked to stay a bit closer to Old Town Square or Ujezd, but great hotel at a great price. Scratch that, awesome price!

“Good Deal”

Nice, clean, modern renewed hotel, located 10´ walk from the old town and 1 block from river (nice walk). Only problem was that the room (or the AC system) had smoking odor. Friendly staff at the front desk.
