“Good quality hotel in great location”

Stayed for 2 nights in July 2012. Room was ready on arrival even though it was before the check in time. Reception staff very helpful & marked main sights on the map & advised they could help with any day tours/excursions etc. Weather was hot so grateful for air conditioning (heatpump). Tea & coffee facilities in room. Extensive buffet breakfast was included in the tour price. Enjoyed our stay & considered it value for money.

“Handy in Prague”

The Hotel was ideally situated for us. A couple of hundred yards from the Powder Tower. There was no traffic noise to be heard from our room which overlooked the breakfast terrace. during the day, you could hear birdsong, it was so quiet. The staff were very polite & very helpful when our transport to the airport was delayed by traffic. The room was exactly as expected from Great Western, that is why we chose them. The last thing you want to worry about when visiting somewhere new is if the hotel you have had to pick without visiting will be up to standard. This one is. When you visit, do take the time to enjoy a good breakfast, it will set you up for the day, there is no need to hurry & the choice was big enough for anyone, even me.

“A fantastic weekend getaway for couples”

An excellent location for all that Prague has to offer. Immaculately clean hotel with comfortable rooms and public areas. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and staff were polite if yet a little reserved - as is the way with the Czech people. I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel and a fantastic City for a weekend break (and forget about the stag weekend reputation, we saw none of it) - wrap up well it's cold in January in the Czech Republic!

“Ticks all the boxes”

Not often that an hotel lives up to expectations but this one does . The hotel is in a good location for the tourist ; the decor is well presented ( no scuffed furniture or unexplained carpet stains to worry about !), rooms of a good size ,well designed with places to lay things out and every where clean and tidy. The staff were efficient , smiling and helpful and spoke excellent english. And finally the breakfast , offering a wide buffet choice of hot and cold food , platters kept refilled and in a light spacious dining area. A quality hotel.

“Close but quiet”

The hotel was close enough to walk to most of the main highlights, but tucked away so that it was quiet. Free breakfast was great with lots to choose from. Room size was pretty comfortable.

“Great stay in Prague”

This hotel is superbly located being close to both the Old Town and Wenceslas Square. The Air Express link form the airport stops just down the road and coach trips out of Prague leave from the hotel. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and varied and the restaurant has a pleasant interior and outside seating area. The hotel is is very quiet and clean and makes an excellent base.

“Couldn't have chosen better”

I can certainly recommend this hotel for independent travellers like myself. The hotel was in easy reach of all the central sites and I enjoyed walking around taking in the architecture.

“Very impressed with this friendly hotel.”

I was extremely happy with this hotel. We were given our keys on arrival at 10am as the rooms were ready, brillient not to have to wait 'till 2pm. The room was quite spacious and overlooked a well maintained central courtyard. No traffic noise at all. The room and bathroom were tastefully decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. The staff were extremely friendly and helpfull, especially the reception staff who were happy to offer advice and even recommended an excellent restaurant just over the road where we had two reasonably priced memorable meals. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and had a beautifully presented and high quality meal, although a bit pricey the service and attention to detail reflected this. The breakfast was brillient, plenty of choice, a really good start to a long day of pavement pounding. All four of us in our party thought this hotel was excellent and would certainly not hesitate in staying there again.
