“Extended Stay America Fishkill”

The hotel had a cheerleading team staying there overnight and the hotel staff did nothing to control the noise level in the halls or lobby. The girls may have had a good time but the guests did not and sleep was at a premium.

“Friendly staff”

Friendly staff, but no info on area tourist activities. I choose it because other hotels in area were booked. Overall a good experience. Only one chair for table.

“It's okay”

overrated...smelled of cheap cologne no matter how much we tried to air it out...also the bath towels were as rough as sandpaper...other than that it was okay...

“A little overpriced for the experienced”

The linenes were not soft, the shower head was more like a broken waterfall, there was no hair dryer in the room, and the TV was dated with limited chanels and a remote that didn't always work. The room layout was ok. Conveniently located with lots around it.

“Ok in a pinch”

We were able to get a handicapped accessible room which is needed for my husband. However, the shower floor had been repaired & there was a crack reappearing in the shower floor which made the floor soft & dangerous. The water was draining down the crack as well as the drain causing a musty, moldy smell. I don't think the room was used very often.

Area recommendations

Same area since there are many other hotels right off exit 13 on I84 & we used to live in that area.

“Not impressed”

I checked in the room on Sunday 5/29/11 there was a receipt on the floor from 5/23/11, then there was a dirty sock left in the room...yuck......one of the pillow cases was dirty. Then in the morning the power was out and none of the hotel staff came to say anything. This was a complete FAIL and I will not go back

“Carpet was gross”

Luckily thought ahead and brought a pair of socks as the rug was gross. They don't seem to keep the smoking/non-smoking rooms on different floors which is extremely unpleasant. Woman at front desk was VERY helpful, was OK place for a one night stay. Luckily I read the reviews and knew enough to bring shampoo, etc. Price was right but I would gladly have paid 20.00 more for cleaner place

“Great stay for a family”

We were very please with this hotel and its staff. We were on the road all day and it was nice to come to a hotel with our two children and just cook in the room and have a quiet evening of rest. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

“Pleasantly surprised”

Being this hotel was quite a bit cheaper than the others, I expected less. However, the room was very nice, clean and even had an efficiency kitchen. (I wondered if by staying at a "more expensive" hotel what I was actually paying for....the name, or all those little shampoo, conditioner, lotions that you are supplied with?) I would go back in a heartbeat. Staff very pleasant and hotel conveniently located to where I needed to go. Great hotel, Great Value!
