“Good for business, you can do better for pleasure”

This hotel is convenient and no nonsense. It is close to the train station, the rooms are clean and a good size, the reception is efficient, the breakfast is adequate. For the price, it is perfectly fine. It is not, however, somewhere I would choose to stay on personal travel: it is on a very busy road, the facilities are uninspiring, and the bar is dead in the evening. There are much more interesting boutique hotels to be had. However, if you are traveling for work, it fits the bill. Don't go for the hotel's overpriced W-LAN, though - you are in range for much better value-for-money wi-fi such as T-mobile.

“A very well maintained hotel, clean, comfortable and convenient.”

I highly recommend this hotel. If you travel to Berlin area in Germany, this hotel should be your first choice. I am impressed by the efficiency and effectiveness the hotel is run. It is clean, comfortable, and especially, very conveniently located.

“Nice but small”

The cruise ship state room that we last vacationed in was a larger room. At least the cruise ship had a sofa. The dual swing door that functions for the toilet area and the shower is clever, but does not meet the objective when two people use the bathroom. The restuarant was great. Excellent Chef.

“Great hotel for visiting Berlin on New Year's”

Nice hotel with great rooms. Parking is limited but there is a garage down the street near the police station that costs 9 euros overnight. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.

“Mercure potsdam zentral”

Hotel ist zentral gelegen, 5 min zum Hauptbahnhof, ca 10 min Potsdam city. sauber, komfortabel und sehr günstig. Gut auch für sightseeing in Berlin city.

Area recommendations

Potsdam oder Berlin City leicht zu erreichen.

“Das Hotel liegt schön am Wasser gelegen”

Keine Parkmöglichkeiten, auf Nachfrage wo man den Parken könnte keine höffliche Antwort. Zimmer sauber aber das Bad nicht zu empfelen, da das Wachbecken ausserhalb vom Bad lag.

“Das Hotel liegt unweit des Bahnhofes. Gute Zugverbindungen. Sehr schöne Aussicht”

Das Hotel ist zu emfehlen. Der Service ist gut und das Personal ist freundlich. Das Frühstück ist schmackhaft aber etwas spärlich. Das Essen im Restaurant ist gut. Zwar nicht viel Auswahl auf der Karte, dafür aber sehr schmackhaft. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet. Der Zahn der Zeit nagt hier und da an einigen Möbelstücken. In einigen Zimmern könnte mal der Teppich gereinigt werden. Wir würden in dem Hotel wieder buchen.

Wir empfehlen eine ausgiebige Erkundung der Umgebung. Im Potsdam gibt es einiges zu sehen.
