Great hotel with incredible views from both the rooms, restaurant and pool. We had an excellent stay. The only downside is the walk to the beach. There are many steps to get down to the beach and port and coming back up is even harder. Not a walk someone with health problems can do. The hotel does offer a shuttle service though.
Nice hotel to stay at for a few days. Family owned and operated, and they couldn't be more accommodating. The view is as good as any in Positano. Great (and some of the best) restaurants within walking distance (and the hotel's food is good and their road-side-with-view tables are an awesome place to start the day). If you do want to go down to the city center, it is an easy walk and you can either taxi it back up or take bus. Not a big deal at all for a couple or a family. It's not the Four Seasons by any stretch, but its a (more than) decent place to stay and watch the world go by.
Hotel was conveniently located a few minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. It met all our expectations and would definitely recommend it.Friendly staff gave us good recommendations for restaurants and helped us with our travel arrangements.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel and really loved it - the room was spacious and nice, the location was great, and the staff were friendly. However: There was no WiFi in the guest rooms at all - but instead it was only accessible in the lobby and on the main floor, which was a real killer for us and horribly inconvenient. If that were fixed it would definitely be a 5!

"Excellent location, attentive and friendly staff. "
The staff are very welcoming and informative. The hotel is in an excellent location. We had a fabulous view and the pool was lovely. We had a large, spotlessly clean bedroom and lovely bathroom. If you are going to visit Positano I would recommend staying at Eden Roc as it is away from the noisy tourist areas and has everything you need.
"Beautiful and romantic gem away from tourist cente"
This is a small, private family-run hotel with possibly the best views in Positano. It's perched high up on the steep hills that are so characteristic of this beautiful city. On first we impression, we were wary of the location - it does require a bit of navigating the steps that bring one to the beach and main center. However, this part is also what made our stay amazing. Beautiful restaurants nearby, away from the main tourist drags, little food shops down the block. And the view from our gorgeous tiled room is indescribable. Excellent place for a romantic trip. The daily breakfast served to us on our private balcony was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended!
A desirably picturesque tourist haunt, Moorish-style houses cling to Positano’s steep hillsides. It’s a pleasant walk down to the small grey beach and fishing harbour via narrow, flower-decked alleyways and steps, but the return journey takes some effort (luckily there’s a bus). A domed church is Positano’s main landmark. The town celebrates the Feast of the Assumption on 15th August by re-enacting a famous victory against the Saracens.
