“Not great but certainly not bad”

This is a very good hotel for the price. It's not within walking distance of downtown Portsmouth, but it is easy to get there by car. Everything was fine, no real complaints -- but the oddest thing was that the "closet" was inside a cabinet, and not high enough to contain a long coat! I found that very odd. The bed was too soft for my taste, but that could just be me. The staff was very, very friendly and helpful. If you just want a clean, well appointed place to stay for a quick overnight, this place is just fine.

“Trip up from Boston”

The only thing that might cause me to book somewhere else is the fact that this hotel does not offer a free continental breakfast. There is a restaurant next door, but when you are on a budget of in a hurry to get on the road continental is better.

“Good deal and location, very good staff”

2nd stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient near the I-95 and next to NH state liquor store and fairly close to both downtown and the mall area. This stay was booked thru the Expedia mystery deal and we were very satisfied. The hotel is not new, but well maintained and clean. The front desk staff were great, efficient courteous and very helpful. The room was average, not new but very clean with a nice sized mini-fridge, comfy bed/pillows and a decent television. Definetely recommend this hotel for the price. We had supper at the attached Roundabout diner and were disappointed.

“My fith time here!”

Very clean. Easy location. Never had an issue. Our room was perfect! Had a microwave, fridge and small sink outside of the bathroom. The room was spacious. The pool and gym was ok but it was all very tidy and clean.

“rude service”

Hotel Location is strategically next to I-95. Front desk check-in clerk was rude. I had called ahead before midnight that my arrival would be delayed to 2 AM. However Clerk was was disinterested and said he would be there at check-in time. I asked for 6 AM wake-up call. but never got the call. Overall very awkward experience with front desk, and very stayed outdated hotel, charching 1/3 too much for the Off-season in early April.

“Can't wait to go back”

The service was great. Continental breakfast was the best we've experienced in our many stays at other hotels. The Girls on the registration desk were amazing.
