“Not our scene”

Our initial room looked like a college dorm room from the 1920s. Bizarre massive bookshelves over a dumpy bed. TINY bathroom and cramped bathroom. Looked nothing like the photo. We asked for a room change (this was our honeymoom, really expected something different). They upgraded us for 2 nights to another room. A Huge difference. Very large room, fantastic view of the water. Very, very nice. Although the A/C didn't quite work which was frustrating. We ended up leaving a day early. Not a great stay but it was nice of them to upgrade us at no extra cost. The other clientele seemed almost exclusively retirees (some very, very old) and a handful of families. I'm guessing a lot of the guests have been coming for years and years to this same place and aren't aware that there are MUCH better places to stay out there.
