“Excellent and clean hotel”

We stayed at the Approdo hotel for 4 nights in August 2011. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel. It was bright and the rooms were large, with beatiful views of the sea. The bed was a bit hard but we got used to it. Breakfast was included and ample, with good choice of bread, pastries, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, cereal, coffees, teas etc. The only downside of this hotel is that it is located at a curve and on a stretch of road that has no sidewalk for about 200 to 300 meters on the way to Santa Margherita. So if you plan to walk, that part without the sidewalk feels a bit dangerous, especially at night when traffic is heavy and it is dark. Otherwise, great place and great location.

L'Approdo is fresh and clean and bright. The staff are friendly, helpful and informative. There is free wi-fi throughout, an included ample breakfast buffet, and a reasonably priced bar. The hotel has a beautiful garden and is set amongst other such gardens. It is a lovely and quiet location, except for some traffic noise, which you get almost everywhere in Italy. But the hotel is set back from the road. Parking is limited, but is available to those who telephone ahead to reserve, and is charged for, at about ten percent on top of the room rate. The buses run to Rapallo in one direction and Santa Margherita in the other, and stop right outside. Our room was a clean and pleasant bedroom, with effective air conditioning. The glazing was effective at keeping out the noise of the passing lambrettas. The bathroom was modern. There was a shower but no bath. There is a lift, but the hotel may not be suitable for people with a disability, because the driveway leading up from the road is very steep. There is easy access to a public beach about two hundred meters away. Our stay was very pleasant, and I would not hesitate to recommend L'Approdo, which is very reasonably priced for that resort.

Ottima sorpresa l'Hotel Approdo, di gradevole posizione per il panorama (se hai stanza verso mare), ottima professionalità e cordialità del personale, stanze spaziose e ristrutturate con quel gusto razionale che nulla ti fa mancare, perfetta pulizia e riordino della stanza. Se si volesse trovare un miglioramento potrebbe essere nella qualità del cibo della colazione che cmq è abbondante.

Super Personal, Frühstück okay, Parkplatzsituation unter Umständen schwierig da nur 7 auf Hotelgelände, sehr gefährliche Strasse auf der man Teilstücke zu Fuß zurücklegen muss

“Staff dell'hotel è ottimo. Posizione perfetta per visitare (anche a piedi) i dintorni”

Ottimo lo staff dell'hotel: gentile e di supporto per qualsiasi richiesta, anche last minute. Posizione ottima per muoversi nei dintorni. Si preferisca girare a piedi perché la macchina, una volta parcheggiata, è meglio scordarsela fino alla ripartenza (specie ad Agosto).
