“excelent option in Rapallo”
Excelent hotel, friendly, comfortable, good location, excelent view of the sea. I liked too much.
“Another Age”
Close you eyes and you could be back in 1920 in this gloriously romantic hotel. I felt like I was on the set of a Grace Kelly movie. The view from the breakfast terrace was just beautiful. Rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. The highlight of the hotel was the reception staff who were beyond helpful. The hotel was very quiet, not much happening at night but it was the off season
“Nice view, but..”
The room was just ok. On par with motel - 8. Junky furniture and tiny room. View was pretty, but I think the hotel is over-rated. Was glad I was alone. The room was way too small for two people. I thought the concierge was very helpful and nice, but the pool-towel police were a bit over the top and the room service menu was ridiculously over-priced! The reason I chose the hotel was for the pools, but the pool hours were extremely limited. No chance to get in early a.m. laps or cool off at the end of the day.
“Good hotel”
Hotel is well placed for the centre of Rapallo overlooking the sea. Room was a little disappointing the decor was looking a little tired but it was clean we had a nice view of the town and harbor. Pool area is very good with great views. Only ate breakfast in the hotel which was good but there are great restaurants in Rapallo. Boat trip to Portofino and surrounding area recommended.
“Refinement in Rapallo”
This hotel is splendid in all respects and an excellent base from which to explore the Portofino peninsula. The amenities are top notch, the rooms comfortable and with great views, and the staff very helpful. Now all they need is a crosswalk (zebra crossing) to cross the busy street leading down to the town center. That way cars must yield the right of way. Or at a minimum put in one of those traffic mirrors to let you see around the bend. Or just call a taxi ;-)
“Best hotel of trip”
Fantastic service, amazing views, wonderful town. Looked after so well by the staff, particularly Angelo, the Head Porter/Concierge
“Rapallo's treasure of a hotel.”
Fab hotel and staff, cld not ask for more; you wont be disappointed with this hotel! Good choices with breakfast and great service provided. We left behind a jacket and concierge cld not be more helpful in locating it and sending it back to us at our home! Highly recommended for a beautiful stay in Rapallo.
“One of the best hotels”
One of the best hotels I visited. Best location with sea view. Excellent service.
“Would recommend it to all of my friends.”
It was a beautiful, old world, classy hotel in a beautiful setting with magnificent views in the best location in town...wonderful food, ambience, and service - what could be better?
“Best Portofino option”
Nice and elegant hotel, breathtaking room view. Not big room, good amenities. Rapallo is the clever option for Portofino destination. Five minute drive to Portofino, with the charming Santa Margherita Liguria on the way. A bike can be a good option.
