We were looking for a quiet, sunny place for a quick "get away from it all" break. We found tha JS Es Corso Apartments in Expedia and booked 5 nights there.
On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and treated us like lifelong friends. We were Bed and breakfast and found the apartment adequate for what we needed. The continental breakfast was excellent and we found ourselves not eating again until dinner at 8pm, which we got in 5 different establishments iin the local area. The apartment we had was at the complex pool, though this is across the road from the main complex.

My wife and I, and our two daughters recently spent 11 nights here. There is nothing to fault, the Hotel is spotless, the rooms are comfortable, the food was great, and the staff are exceptional. We had rooms on the 6th floor overlooking the pool. Yes the buses turn up at all hours, but our door was closed with the air-con on, so they didn't trouble us. There are plenty of bars in the civic square, and overlooking the harbour in Porto Colom. Also don't miss a trip to the beach, a lovely cove to swim in and also lots of tourist shops and bars.
The only downside is the trip from the airport. We booked the shuttle and had to wait 45 mins before we left the airport, then spent two and a half hours dropping everyone else off. Same problem coming back, one and a half hours collecting everybody then another hours drive. Either take a taxi (expensive), or book a hire car !!
Lovely hotel with great staff in a picturesque location on the cliffs. A few minor issues and one major one. The minor ones first, the bed was very hard and not very comfortable and the pool was very cold. The major one was that the food in the restaurant was ALWAYS cold, they provide a microwave to heat up your own food but I feel that it should be hot start with. This said, the food was of excellent quality and tasted delicious, shame it was barely warm. The only other point I would make is Porto Colom is very quiet, and only really suitable if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday as there is no hotel entertainment and no nightlife to speak of.
