“You get what you pay for.”
This hotel suited us. We had hired a car so the free parking was a bonus. The bus stop was just outside the hotel so we could get into the centre of town quickly and cheaply and Porto transport is excellent. The hotel front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was rather 'old fashioned', but it was comfortable. The bathroom was lovely, clean and plenty of hot water. The air conditioning was pretty old, so we had to have the window open, and the road is very noisy. The breakfast was fine, normal kind of things with no frills but fresh and clean and a wide variety, cheese, cold meats, egg, bacon, rolls, croissants, toast etc. We ate in the hotel one night (mid priced) and it was fine, but only two choices and no menu, but the waiter/chef was charming. No wine list, the drinks came from the bar. For best transport option get an Adante card and ask for Adante24 its good value and you can use all the transport options in Porto. Don't forget the visit the Port Lodges, they are wonderful and some tours are free and include tasting. Overall Porto is a great place to visit.
“Nice hotel, good location”
For staying in Porto, this hotel has a pretty good location. It's not in the city center, a little ways outside, in fact. But they have free parking and the bus going to downtown Porto has a stop right outside the door. Breakfast is rather sparse. Meals at the hotel are expensive but good.
“just ok”
The reception staff was quite moody and not friendly at all. The hotel is quite far from the town center and not closer to any restaurants. Good breakfast buffet. The bed I had was very comfortable and the swimming pool was wonderful.
“Good Value”
we were impressed by the swimming poool and sauna (including Turkish bath) facilities of the Health Cetre, although the fitness facilities consisted of little more than a treadmill, out-of-work rower and some old machines. Nevertheless, the hotel is well located, comfortable and friendly. Breakfast was good. Overall, good value for money and we will go back!

“Très déçu de cet hôtel”
L'hôtel Belver Béta n'est pas à proprement par ler un 4*. Nous avons été très déçu de la qualité déplorable des chambres. L'insonorisation des chambres est médiocre, on entendait clairement le voisin de chambre. La literie était très mauvaise. La piscine, saumas... sont sales et il ne fait pas don d'y mettre les pieds, les conduits d'aération sont rouillée!!! A Déconseiller!!!!!!
“Adresse satisfaisante”
J'y suis restée deux jours, l'hôtel est confortable, mais je ne suis pas sûre que les 4 étoiles soient mérités. Les chambres sont un peu vieillotes, et l'hôtel un peu excentré (il ya tout de même 2/3 bus à proximité qui vont de le centre, mais pas de métro) mais l'ensemble reste correct. L'accueil n'est pas très commercial mais chaleureux et agréable.

si l'hotel est irréprochable, l'équipement de la chambre n'est pas à la hauteur : le lit pour la 3e personne est un vulgaire lit pliant la piscine par contre est très bien et l'ensemble sauna aussi
