“Great Location, Good accomodations”

Have stayed here 1/2 dozen times in the past year. Very consistent service, great location for business traveler, Wi-Fi data rates are OK.

“Hotel 50”

Even though my room was above the bar and on a busy street, it was nothing a pair of earplugs couldn't handle. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I also enjoyed being close to the river-- the view from the bar was fantastic. I would stay here again.

“without heat”

I stayed in at this hotel in November. The hotel had no heat. I left the hair dryer running for several hours the first evening. When I questioned the lack of heat the next morning, the person at the desk explained that the boiler had not been working overnight, that it was reset and would be working soon. I left for the day, came back to find the room just as cold as before and still no heat. Again with the hair dryer. It didn't help that the comforter was too short to reach the foot of the bed. Did I mention it was cold?

“Nice hotel; noisy surroundings during early morning hours”

Valet parking IS NOT FREE FOR REGISTERED GUESTS. Hotel employees were very friendly. Nice bar. Room was very clean. Be careful if you book a room with a balcony. Rooms on the north side have a great view.....of a roadway/ entrance ramp / and parking lot. The east sideof the hotel has the view of the park and river across the street. No need for a car if you're staying within the metro area because of the metro rail system and streetcars. Rail system has a stop at PDX. You can ride the train into downtown and the closest stop is 2 blocks from the hotel.

“Good hotel in a great location”

Everything was good about the hotel. The shower is really wierd with the open concept. Water gets everywhere.

“Slept like a rock”

Modern, spacious enough, and comfortable. The room was spotless and appealing, the bedding super-comfortable, and the staff friendly enough without being intrusive. I just wish there was free parking, but you won't find free parking anywhere in downtown Portland.

“Hotel 50 is a definite keeper...”

Beautiful and clean inside. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Great restaurant. If you want to be close to the water it's perfect. If you want to be "in" downtown it's a few short blocks. However, if you don't feel like walking 4 or 5 blocks, the MAX stops right out front. I would definitely stay here again!!!
