We truly apologize for the experience you had staying with us. We are a non-smoking facility and we do have signs outside instructing possible smokers to only smoke more than 10 feet away from our buildings. I wish you could have alerted our front desk of the disturbance so that we could have addressed it immediately. I am glad to tell you that we have deep cleaned the 2nd floor as well as all our other floors to eliminate any foul smell. As a result, we have not encountered any issues concerning smell since your departure. We are not sure what the smell was, but it might of been something a guest might have spilled by accident. We ae not sure who might have disturbed your door during the night, but we are having more frequent security checks to make sure our facility is safe.
