Great value

Posted 15-Oct-2014
I was in Portland for my sons soccer tournament. It was a perfect location for me. Lots of stores, food places, gas station right next to it. A bit far from downtown but in Portland everything is 20 min away or so it seemed to me. The room was clean , full kitchen. Perfect line up of tv channels . Plenty of electric outlets through out the room You would need to order kitchen utensils or coffee pot based on your need, has a full laundry inside the hotel. Free breakfast is not much but with full kitchen it's not a big problem. Served my needs.

Cost efficient but just okay...

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: It was clean and the price was great.
Cons: Provide an actual continental breakfast, not just throw some packaged muffins out next to the coffee pot and call it breakfast. Can't fit the rest!!
Location: Love this area, tons of good shopping and restaurants.
I was very happy with the cost of this hotel, and overall there was nothing really wrong with it, but it definitely wasn't great. The continental breakfast was just a fold out shelf with packaged muffins and granola bars and some unripe fruit. No real cream for coffee. Ended up just going the nearby Trader Joes for real breakfast foods and half and half for the coffee. Kitchen in the room was convenient but wasn't already stocked with dishes, silverware, etc, you had to call the front desk to bring the stuff you wanted. I thought that was weird. Also, no coffee pot or hairdryer, had to ask for those, as well. Basically it just came across as cheap. Which I guess it was, so I'm not really sure what I was expecting. The room itself (along with the lobby and rest of the hotel) were clean and just fine, it just felt very very basic. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable and the linens were not good- weird comforter that kept sliding off the bed no matter what you did. In addition, the woman at the front desk didn't come across as very professional and the area behind the desk looked cluttered and messy. All in all, next time I will pay a little more to be at a hotel with better amenities, real breakfast, etc. Just wasn't worth the savings.

Was not Happy with our stay

Posted 05-Sep-2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: the smell in the halls. and when check in tell us that there is nothing in the room.
The rooms were not ready on time. The staff did try to get us in as soon as possible. The halls smelled right a smoke stack. Beds were very hard. Didn’t realize you had to ask for very thing. The only thing in the room was towels not even soap. I would not stay here again!

Its ok, but

Posted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: kitchen, but the dishes and silverware are minimal.
Cons: Cleanliness, I found multiple short black hairs on the counter and the sink in the bathroom when I checked in.
I have stayed here before, it is not my preferred hotel in the area. It was cheaper than the other hotels but should be much cheaper than it was. The room felt dirty because of the hair I found in the bathroom, I had them come again to clean, but the feeling stayed with me the entire 4 nights. The staff were friendly but seemed very tired every time I talked to anyone.

Excellent location to visit family members

Posted 09-Aug-2014
Pros: It was located near the Tanasbourne Shopping Center that we wanted to visit & the travel to our childrens' homes was easy to drive to.
Cons: The list of items in the rooms was not accurate & should be revised. Fortunately, Ashley was very accomodating in seeing that we had what we needed.
Location: Tanasvourne Mall is very convenient & 185th Ave. is the best street to use to get to places int Beaverton & Hillsboro. It also gives good access.
The young woman named Ashley who checked us in & was on duty later in the evening did everything she could to make sure we had everything we needed. Several of the items shown on the sign in the lobby were not in the room, but Ashley furnished everything we lacked. The elevator was quick & efficient & there was a cart to load our bags onto for transport to the room & again when we were checking out to continue on our journey. We had stayed in an Extended Stay in California & we will probably stay at others if they are convenient.

Close to Light Rail and bus

Posted 16-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed here to be close to my son who lives in Beaverton. Was somewhat close to light rail and bus line...Also not far of a walk to shops and restaurants. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great value overall! Staff was very friendly. Only suggestion, need better pillows, and towels were not easily available one night that I needed for next morning. (but next morning they were!) So overall Yes I'd recommend, however if I were to return I'd probably stay at the other Extended Stay that was closer to the shops and restaurants.

The room was as described in the online ad, clean and tidy. The employees I dealt with were friendly.

At least the front desk people were nice.

Bad news. They did not save our reserved room and downgraded us from a king. (with no discount) The carpet in our room was torn and dirty. There was a dirty rubber glove hanging from the bedside light fixture. There was trash and beer bottles in the stair well and the back porch. The TV is on a very low dresser and hard to see when laying in bed. Like I mentioned, the front desk people were nice. Overworked and frazzled because they were overbooked, but nice.
