“Plan to go back in the summer”

First of all, one call to the Crowne Plaza from the airport and they will come and pick you up, but if like me you've travelled to Portland before, then you can just get the TriMet MAX train downtown from the airport for a $2 fare. Get off at either Convention Center or Rose Quarter and the Crowne Plaza is just a 5 minute walk away. It's really that simple. The hotel is a real jewel in my eyes - location is superb because you are only 3 stops from the city centre on the MAX in one direction and only 2 stops from the Lloyd Center shopping mall in the other (and if you walk in either direction, its no more than 25 mins). The staff are lovely and helpful and the rooms are spacious, clean and the place itself is an excellent base for your exploring Portland. Well recommended and this is going to be an annual visit for me now to portland and i would use the Crowne Plaza each time if I can.
