This was our second visit to the Pestana Alvor Praia and we were not disappointed. We had a beautiful sea view room on the 5th floor.
The hotel was clean,comfortable and all the staff were welcoming and friendly.
We were B & B so cannot comment on the evening buffet but you could not fault the breakfast - everything and more than you could possibly ever want.
The hotel has a great location. The hotel is by the beach offering amazing views of sea. There are lots of restaurants & shops nearby. The rooms are clean, and the facilities are excellent. The breakfast is good. It includes hot food, pastries, fruits, and a range of different juices as well as tea/coffee. The only downside is the free wifi. The internet is very very very slow.
Couldn't believe our luck at getting this hotel in a package deal, expected much worse.
Clean room, very freindly staff; they even had a packed dinner for us on arrival, as we were too late for the meal. Hotel and the room spotless, both cleaned daily.
Great pool, cleaned every morning, not too busy, no need to reserve a lounger. Pool bar with drinks all day and evening.
All the food and drink we could want, but this are Portugese chefs trying to make UK food, so it's not great, only exceptable. We ate out most lunchtimes.
A fair distance to beach, but many walked it, we took a cab, they are not that expensive.
