Just came back from a stay at this hotel, which was close to the beach, bars and restaurants. The staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast extremely good. Would more than happily stay there again, wish all hotels were this good.
This hotel was so inexpensive that i cant see anyone having cause to complain, the location was amazing ... 2 minutes walk to main strip of bars and restaurants and another two minutes past this down about forty steps onto the beach... and what a beach !!! couple miles long, half amile wide, with a few restuarants and bars dotted along. The sea was fun, with atlantic rollers coming at and trying to weep you over, probably not a great idea to swim on if you're a non-swimmer but oooh such fun !!
The pool area was clean with a slide and plenty of sunbeds, can imagine it getting very busy in July/aug though.
The apartment was large enough to sleep 4 confortably and fit a cot in if required and had everything you need to self cater... although its so heap to eat out we didnt bother, just used the fridge for cold drinks etc
Overall, i would def go back for a bit of sunshine :-)
Lovely hotel close to the beach with lovely views from my room and friendly and helpful staff! The village of Alvor is a short walk away for your all your needs and lovely restaurants to eat out........Will return ;)
Arrived early with airport hotel transfer but the appartment was ready with a nice wecome. Well equiped kitchen. Balcony. Large sitting room. Lots of room. Bathroom a bit dated and the TV was small.
The facilities were OK. Wifi only available downstairs but good value for a 24hr ticket. The sauna, indoor swimming pool area I found dissapointing with extra charge with no area/seating to relax but the outside pool and garden were excellent.
Just a few minutes walk to the lovely beaches and restaurants/shops. Felt very safe.
My hotel transfer was due to arrive mid-afternoon as I had an evening flight. They extended my check out until 2.30pm without any problem.
All staff very friendly and eager to help.
Great location, quiet and removed from the relative loudness of the rest of Praia da Rocha.
Staff were superb - and the breakfast could keep you going until dinner.
Pool was an oasis - and the rooms, while a little cramped, were fresh, clean and comfortable.
If you do stay - best restaurants with a view nearby are Restaurant F, and Dockside. The rest of the town is mostly British and Irish bars. If you want a bit more tranquility, take a 10 euro cab to Alvor - pretty little fishing village full of restaurants.
