“Comfortable, fresh and a great one night stay”
The hotel is bright and airy with a nautical theme throughout that works well given the great views onto Charlotte Harbour. We only were there for one night but would have gladly stayed more if we had the time. We did get to spend some time at the pool and hot tub and it was very pleasant. The rooms a well-appointed and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the breakfast we had the next morning was hot, tasty and served promptly. All in all a very nice place to stay.
“Gig in Port Charlotte”
We are ABBA Girlz - Tribute to ABBA and we stayed in Four Points by Sharaton in Punta Gorda only one night while performing in country club in Port Charlotte. We couldn't be happier with the location, comfort and service of this super clean and con-temporarily designed hotel. The super nice front desk service at check in and check out and during our short stay added a nice memory to our visit in a part of Florida that we haven't visited before. We would recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you for making our trip to Florida so much more pleasurable. Halina and Agnes/ABBA Tribute/ABBA Girlz
“Great Thanksgiving Weekend!”
This hotel is very nice - so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great and the servers were friendly and helpful. Comfy area off the lobby with computers and two big screen tvs and comfy seating. Nice area to walk along the water which leads to the Tiki Bar where you can sit relax and enjoy a cocktail
“very nice, clean”
We liked staying here very much. It was clean, nice, the front desk was helpful. It was a positive experience. They let us have early check-in at 11am.
“Comfortable, convenient, and clean”
This is a fairly new hotel and it looks it. It is easy to find and get to. It's also easy to get back onto the highway going either north or south. The main drag with its boutiques, pubs, and restaurants is a short walk away. The interiors are spotless and in great shape. The decor in the common areas is beachy (there's a driftwood chandelier in the main lobby). The rooms are more nautical in theme with crisp colors and efficient layout. The bathroom in our Standard King room was big, clean and with white and light-blue tiles and walls. We ate breakfast one morning in the restaurant, and the food was pretty good (though the hash browns were a little soggy). There is a harbor-side walking path just outside the hotel. It runs about 4 miles (but you have to get off of it to go around the decaying Hampton a couple blocks away). You can borrow bikes from the hotel for free if you'd rather ride than strut. There is also a tiki bar in the common area between the hotel and harbor. It has happy hour from 11am to 6pm. We didn't get any drinks there, but the bartender seemed very nice when we inquired about the place. We would definitely stay here again.
“Good hotel wiht a few things to keep in mind”
I liked the hotel but there were a few things to keep in mind. I chose this hotel based on the photographs and convenient location for an over night stay for business travel. I arrived around 5:30 pm and there was nobody at the front desk. After waiting for about 5 minutes, someone came by and I got on my way quickly to my room. The decor is nice and modern as advertised. The room has the usual amenities, coffee machine, iron board, toiletries and a complementary bottled water. The bathroom appeared clean with the exception of a few hairs on the counter-top and shower. Around 8 pm, a loud noise started going off, probably from a transformer or a panel from the electrical room next door. I called front desk to ask them to check it out and within 20 minutes I got reassigned another room. For breakfast I had their continental buffet, but it was nothing special. Muffins, bagels, toast, cereals, yogurts, juices and a limited selection of fresh fruit (melon, pineapple and grapes). At check out time, again, there was nobody at the front desk and waited around for about 5 minutes. Not a big deal but when you are pressed for time, it is not ideal. All in all, for the price I paid, it was ok. The staff was friendly and I would probably stay there again if the opportunity presents itself.
“Fresh Nautical Southern Comfort”
Very enjoyable accommodations, while attending a local concert. Very courtious service, lobby bar closed early, 9PM. Could be we were there before "high" season, but nice "Tieke bar" just short walk to property's beachside. Varied breakfast menu selections, well prepared, and delicious. Breakfast buffet with lots of fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastries, etc. Slight "glitch". Hotel has a circular drive approach, and "dollys" are provided for luggage. However no personnel for assistance. Not a problem for rolling luggage, and only a one or two night stay. Then again it was not "high" season as noted above. All-in-all a very enjoyable establishment.
“Extremely pleasant stay”
VERY clean hotel, excellent staff, most accomodating. You can't beat the location of this hotel, surrounded by the Harbor Walk, they also have a nice Tiki Bar right on the harbor walk path. The only down side was no refrigerator in the room, but for the level of cleanliness, it may be a good trade off.
“clean and well decorated”
the entrance was a bit hard to find but otherwise it was a great hotel; the staff were friendly and helpful; we really liked the simple, fresh contemporary decor. the restaurant's food was good but a bit pricey and it closed too early for summer daylight (9pm).
“Noise Null”
Modern hotel surrounded by hway 41 but noise level is null inside rm. Swimming in a salt water pool was refreshing. The only negative was the pool area no shaded area maybe if they rearrange the pool furniture. We love the modern decor of the hotel. The staff is pleasant and helpful.
