“Value”

Never have stayed in this cost reduced hotel. Was alittle dated, but okay. Staff was great. Lady at front desk recommend several restaurants and night life. Great recommends. Pool was good. Close to I41 but no traffic noise. Nothing fancy, but okay because we aren't in our rooms alot. Biggest king bed we've ever seen. Park behind hotel had 3 local bands performing. Wonderful stroll! 3 miles from the airport! Great value, we stayed 2 nights. Again, nothing fancy but it did what we needed.

“Older but comfortable. Nice breakfast but toaster did not work.”

There were two of us. We only received one washcloth. We did not have cups or plastic glass in the room for coffee, water, etc. Asked for a wake up call which we did not receive. Toaster did not work. Other than that, we were satisfied.

Area recommendations

This was a good location. Within walking distance to downtown restuarants and close to Highway 41 which was our mainstay for all of our trip.

“great location”

couldnt ask for a better location-the rooms were a bit dated and at night very noisy.The pool area and tiki bar were good and the restaurant was good value .YOu could walk to fishermans village.The breakfast was good continental

“Great value for the money.”

As many others have noted, the hotel needs updating. However, its still a great value. Excellent location, views, sunsets and breakfasts. We'll be back.

“very nice great breakfast wonderful staff beautiful pool great view”

rooms need to be updated shower i could die for pressure awesome the breakfast was great the pool was wonderful it was sparkling clean the grounds well taking care of cant wait to go back

“Great hotel if you don't mind the dust.”

For the price, I thought the hotel was very nice. The only issue I had was with the housekeeping. The towel racks looked like they hadn't been dusted in months. The hair I left on the bathroom floor on Monday was still there on Friday morning when we left.

“A few snags but made good”

We had snafu with the original room they gave us (it wasn't ready) but for our inconvenience they upgraded us at no charge to an awesome suite. We would definitely stay there again.

“Won't go there again.”

for the price I'm not complaining, but if you have allergies, you don't want to stay in this hotel. I don't know if it was mold or cleaning supplies, but I'm sick.

“Cost Effective”

Most of the desk help, w/one exception, seemed quite customer-oriented. The hotel shows its age a bit - barely functioning coffee machine in the room being one example. However, once reported, the staff replaced it. The continental breakfasts were ample but not particularly tasty. The hotel's right on the water & close to the historic district, so location is a plus. My room was quiet which counts for much.
